Would be all over this if you can turn off the dedicated GPU when not needed. Also apparently the battery draws down slowly while at full CPU and GPU load with the included charger, which is 170w. But the screen looks amazing. I think the black Friday deal for ideapad pro 5i from Costco is more practical, although it does not have such a nice screen

You may also reach parity with an undervolt.
I undervolted the Legion 7i non-Pro Gen 10's 275HX -55mv all cores, 50w PL1 90w PL2, + rtx 5070 down to 77-80w under load from stock 115w via curve editor (875mv at ~2400mhz, flattened) and it runs cool 67c while doing 120+ fps max settings w DLSS frame gen on Cyberpunk 2077.
The Legion 7i non-Pro is very very slightly larger and heavier (almost identical) than the Yoga Pro 9i, but with higher wattage 245w charger, higher wattage 275HX & 5070 - while being a few hundred cheaper than the Yoga Pro 9i w 5060 & Tandem OLED. You're really paying a premium for that Tandem OLED.
Unless you're a creator first and gamer second and need the upgraded display, the Legion with its 500 nit OLED would be the better fit from a performance per dollar standpoint, and still has a fantastic display.

It has advanced optimus but a quick google said it doesn't always work as intended all of the time. Doesn't really matter too much to me because the battery is decent regardless and I'm usually close to an outlet.
This was VERY briefly $1370 for open box excellent, only showing at like 1AM when all BB price adjustments happen. Insane buy at that price and I was happy I jumped on it because by the morning, the same Excellents in my area had gone up. I already bought TWO at the OB Excellent $1560 price a couple weeks back and was intent on keeping one but then this popped up (still showing $1519 which is a discount though, and could continue to drop until Xmas but I doubt again at sub $1400, although you have until Jan 15 to return w/ extend holiday period if it does)
Customer service wouldn't price match for me but the 3rd one turned out to be even more of a charm. The trackpad is a smidge loose but can be fixed later if I really care. The speakers on the third one are even beefier and better tuned from the factory than either of the first two (although they respond well to EQ'ing anyway). And like the one I was going to keep, it has almost no battery usage history. Essentially it's brand new and an absolute steal at this price.
I didn't experience any battery drain while gaming but YMMV if you're doing extremely heavy creator workloads.

As a multimedia and light gaming machine, it's second to none for the price though. No tandem OLEDs of this size out there for sub $3k and the speakers are far and away better than any Legion gaming laptop
