Ordered the MSI OLED from Costco at like 4:30am CST and it's shipped already. Didn't like out-of-the-box AW2725DF colors months ago, but I'll see if this MSI changes my mind about OLED monitors.

This is a better pick than the 360hz 2725DF, IMO. The 2725D has full HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, the 2725DF is limited to HDMI 2.0.

I ordered the $380 Costco MSI on Monday....but decided this is a better buy. I used a 10% coupon and then added $30 speakers to hit $504 with tax, which activates the AMEX $100 off $500 from Dell. So $405 for this monitor and Creative pebble speakers. Based on all my research this is apples and apples to the MSI but I personally think it has a much more premium design whereas the MSI looks kinda cheap. I considered the 360hz model for a bit more, but the difference between 280 and 360 is negligible and that model can only do 144hz over HDMI.

the description for AW2725DF says hdmi 2.1 :
"1 x HDMI 2.1 (HDCP 1.4 & 2.3)(Supports up to QHD 2560 x 1440 144 Hz TMDS, HDR, VRR as per specified in HDMI 2.1)"

It's marketed as 2.1 but it's not really because note the max refresh rate.

This "deal" pops up every month or so. Literally, it was in place 2 weeks ago, it went back to normal price last week, and here we are again.

Play with the MSI for a bit, return it if it's not what you want, and wait for the next Dell deal.

That's a great play if your Amex has an active deal. I used to get that on mine, now it's crummy extra miles only (Delta Amex Platinum).

I just received my MSI and I'm going through the process of evaluating it too. First OLED monitor for me. The QD-OLED text quality is nowhere near as bad as some lament. This is right next to my main monitor, which is an IPS.
