Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

Ordered a new iPhone 17 pro max from apple.com using Paypal pay in 4 about 10 - 15 mins ago. So far no indication (that I have found) suggesting that I will be getting points/rewards/etc. but fingers crossed and will keep an eye out.
Did you do trade in with your purchase?

How is that possible if you are buying something with a credit card but at the same time taking a short term loan with PayPal? When I paid with PayPal it's was EITHER a card in my wallet or pay later. Not both.
When you select Pay in 4, Paypal needs to know which card to charge it to. Before making the transaction, I had both Discover and Chase saved in my account, but only Discover showed up in the pop up while checking out. I assumed that Discover was the default card I had chosen but couldn't remember. had never used Pay in 4 before so didn't know the process. So I proceeded to add Chase (again) to switch the card to be charged. Paypal reject Chase saying that the card does not qualify either for the promotion or Pay in 4 (it was not specific), for some reason remains a mystery.

Care to share a sample? I need snow tires and these would be helpful. Ty!
SD won't permit specifics on portals.
I just pulled the trigger on 4 A/S at tire-easy.com.

The pay by 4 is no longer active.
If I use the pay by 12 and pay balance in full early will that disqualify cashback?
Is Pay in 4 no longer available across the board? I too didn't have this option so I went with Pay Monthly. but I'm hoping paying it in full will still qualify for the promo.

Bought $650 item on eBay using Pay in 4, got notification about 13000+ pending points immediately. That's $130 cash back 👍👍 plus 3% cash back from Amex blue cash. Thanks OP!!

The option to pay using Pay in 4 disappeared for me as well. I hope PayPal didn't disable this intentionally, but I wouldn't put it past them.

I'm looking to buy my son a gaming laptop for Christmas from eBay. 2 questions:

1. When I check out do, I chose "PayPal" or "PayPal Credit"?

2. I have some eBay gift cards. Can I use those gift cards and still take advantage of this deal with the remaining post-gift card balance?

Chase and Capital One cards can't be used for Pay Later. Pay Later i believe shows up as either "Pay in 4" or "Pay Monthly". You can pay off early with no penalty or fees.

Just pulled the trigger and bought a graphics card from Best Buy. Still haven't received the notification about the reward points yet. Fingers crossed! I'll update here later.

why is everyone trying to use Credit Cards? Isnt this offer for using PYPLs BNPL product? The most you can double dip on in 25% downpayment. The max double dip impact is ~$10 (1250 X 25% downpayment X extra 3% from 5% CB cards)

Am i missing something??
