Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

So no Chase or Capital One, any other CC hacks here to stack on the 20% cash back, on top of shopping portal?

You can stack BOA cash reward card with 3% online shopping cash back

Placed an order for something using the monthly and plan to pay in full once the payment completes. Hopefully everything goes through OK. It's too bad it's capped at $250. The item I ordered is like $2k lol... still better than anything else though.
How many points are pending in PP for you? Other report of more than 25000 points for almost $2k spend.

Multiple transactions are allowed correct? Maybe it is worth doing a small test payment to see if it triggers it ....
Did you try? I did two transactions at the same retailer and it won't let me do a 3rd.

trying to pay property taxes but they only accept echeck, credit/debit card or Apple/Google Pay. Does anyone know of a way that I can add like a single use virtual card to either Apple or Google Pay to take advantage of this? Or any other way? This is for Orange County, California
Doubt it - unless you have some sort of debit card that earns rewards. This is essentially a payment plan that links directly to your bank to pull the payments from

Looking to buy a ps5 as well, but was hoping to double dip by finding a retailer that accepts paypal that has the base disc console on sale as well. Looks like that would be possible if this deal lasts until BF.

Was your PS5 pro on sale?

Anyone know if there's a retailer that accepts paypal pay in 4 and has the PS5 disc version on sale already?
ps5 pro was def not on sale. I bought because the points on this paypal 20% cashback are limited to 1.5 Billion and I don't think they will last long until next week. I will try to have Best Buy price adjust if there is a deal on PS5 Pros next week.

Just purchased $200 gift card at that certain cashback site mentioned earlier and 4000 points were pending immediately after the order was placed. Does anyone have experience with PayPal clawing back points while pending for gift card purchases? Or is the fact that the points went to pending a good sign that it made it through their terms? TIA

Ya, basically roughly 60,000 transactions of $1250. I think this will be gone in a few days. Good idea on the price adjust.

well i just submitted an order for bravia 8 ii 65 oled at sony. 10% new customer coupon - stacked with id.me 10% = 1979
applied for pay later since the price was higher than pay in 4. Paypal summary shows 5% Pending and 20% pending. could turn out to be a really slick deal. The lowest terms for pay it later were over 6 months and 80$ total interest. Hoping i can just pay it off immediately and not pay interest.. but its a good deal either way. Also 90 back in sony rewards

EDIT: just checked my order showes 49000 points pending..is that 490$!!!!!!!!?? holy crap
Wow 😳 look at this post everybody, someone was able to get 49000 points worth $490 on a $2000 purchase using PayPal Pay Later.

PayPal Pay Later is the umbrella term for the service that includes both "PayPal Pay in 4" and "PayPal Pay Monthly". If you choose the interest free short term plan you are using the "Pay in 4" option. This poster apparently used the "Pay Monthly" option instead to get all these points which for some reason came out way above the maximum $250 in points allowed for this "Pay in 4" deal we are all focused on.

I have the offer and added it, but when I'm trying to use it the only options I see is PayPal Credit and it prompts for a credit application. Trying to make a purchase on BestBuy.
