11/26/2025 10:28am PST Update: This is now limited to ONE transaction, with 20% rewards back up to $1,250. Paypal email memo notes that the promotion for spend on multiple transactions prior to the notification will be honored.
Walmart:
1) you have to make sure Paypal is not a saved method of payment in your wallet. If so, go into your account and remove it
2) When you are in checkout, uncheck the box that says Remember Paypal as a payment option.

Multiple transactions are allowed correct? Maybe it is worth doing a small test payment to see if it triggers it ....
Looking to buy a ps5 as well, but was hoping to double dip by finding a retailer that accepts paypal that has the base disc console on sale as well. Looks like that would be possible if this deal lasts until BF.

applied for pay later since the price was higher than pay in 4. Paypal summary shows 5% Pending and 20% pending. could turn out to be a really slick deal. The lowest terms for pay it later were over 6 months and 80$ total interest. Hoping i can just pay it off immediately and not pay interest.. but its a good deal either way. Also 90 back in sony rewards

PayPal Pay Later is the umbrella term for the service that includes both "PayPal Pay in 4" and "PayPal Pay Monthly". If you choose the interest free short term plan you are using the "Pay in 4" option. This poster apparently used the "Pay Monthly" option instead to get all these points which for some reason came out way above the maximum $250 in points allowed for this "Pay in 4" deal we are all focused on.
