Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

so I can't do this for a purchase that is $1750? I thought it was 20% back from $1250 which is $250. I was hoping to get $250 back and not get cashback for the $500 over $1250.
1. Pay in 4 has a limit of 1500. If you are spending 1750, Pay Monthly would likely work with Pay in 4 disabled.

2. The max benefit during current period is 250 which is 20% of 1250. There is no additional benefit for spending over 1250, not even the 5% benefit available for the previous period or follow on period. You can do multiple transactions until you reach 1250 spending / 250 in benefit during this period, although someone commented they could only do one transaction. I suspect their account activity may have triggered a flag.

3. Between Dec 9 and Dec 31, the 20% benefit period goes away replaced by the 5% period. I don't think there is a cap on the 5% benefit.

It shows like that until the order is fulfilled and confirmed by the merchant
Thanks for the response. The merchant has shipped the order, but the status hasn't updated yet. I'll wait until it's delivered.

So it let me use my CC for pay in 4 using my Wells Fargo card. Do I need to worry about the cash advance I saw somewhere on here?

Would this stack with Amex or BoA offers?

It did not for Best Buy AMEX offer just FYi
Unfortunately it cannot trigger the AMEX offer because the payment transaction shows up like this (or similar) instead of the merchant's name:

Up to $1250 spend is per transaction. Reads to me as if it can be used multiple times. This is going to be quite good - like almost as good as the Bing 30% cashback from way back when.Edit: Sounds like it's total spend of $1250, but can be spread across multiple purchases. Still pretty darned great!
But it also mentions max 1.5b points. Doesn't that mean multiple $1250 transactions would be allowed?

Edit: nvm I didn't finish reading sorry 😅

Can you use a single use virtual pay later credit card to get this deal or is it only at checkout of online stores?

I bought LG OLED 77inch C5 from eBay for 1772$ with 400$ gift card from eBay includes tax. Then applied 1490$ for pay in 4. Worked like a charm!
PayPal reward 20% applied. It takes 90 days to credit the reward

Mine shows it, but there's no "save offer" like on the other things there. It just says, "shop now".

I think that's what happened with mine when I went back after already saving it previously.
