Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

Anyone know if you need to unfreeze your 3 credit agency accounts to allow for the soft check?
PayPal prompted me to unfreeze my Equifax credit report, but not the other two.
Side anecdote for anybody reading, both my Chase credit cards and even my PayPal Mastercard wasn't eligible to be used with Pay in 4, but it looks like my Citi CustomCash card worked with my Best Buy purchase.

Soft credit checks can be done while your credit is frozen.

I was able to do the deal & my credit is frozen.

He means to basically lower your total balance to 1500 as that's the limit for most people with pay over time. So he'd get a gift card and redeem it in the purchase over 1500. I'm not sure if paypal allows for pay over time and split payment though. My pay over time limit is $2700.
I'd be interested in how that happened. I've used it for years and never missed a payment but the per transaction has always held at $1500. I've had balances well over that but I've never seen anyone who has had PayPal pay in 4 transaction limit over 1500. Just to be clear I'm not referencing a pay over time that charges interest but just the pay in 4 no interest option.

Anyone?
Check the 'Reward' section. It should be there. Mine doesn't show in 'Saved Offer' too. Once you press the button to save the offer, the button changes to 'Shop Now'.

Can we do the same with paying federal taxes using Paypal?
Should work I guess? Not sure if the Pay in 4 option shows up .. if it does don't see why it is any different. Good luck!

I just tried to use to buy iPhone through Apple and at first I had the pay in 4 option when I selected PayPal. But then it gave me an error message when I tried to complete the transaction and now it doesn't show the pay in 4 option - only the monthly pay later. Anyone able to successfully use w Apple?

What's the 5% cashback on Chase? You can't use your credit card for the paylater.

Thank you! Used at Reolink in combination with their Black Friday early sales to get a great home security deal and points are now pending.
