Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

Anyone used it for Apple purchase with trade-in? Not sure if this was answered, but wondering how this works, because first I will make the purchase without trade-in, then sending the trade-in will issue a refund. But my pay in 4 amounts will not change, right? as that was mandated by the initial purchase. Will paypalsubtract points/cashback amounts after the trade-in credit received?
Did you get the confirmation on this?

We were talking about the Virtual Gift Card that I bought from Kroger - to spend at Costco to buy Costco cash card.
Are the points still showing up as pending or did they post yet?

Bad naming by PayPal marketing. Pay in 4? PayPal Pay Later? PayPal Credit?

On eBay, I need to checkout with regular PayPal, not PayPal Credit. Then I see Pay in 4, but nothing that says PayPal Pay Later specifically.

How long does it take to get added back in your pool? I paid 1 of the 2 off and it is still not showing available 😞
I noticed it takes a day for the pay in 4 people to catch up.

So frustrating- for some reason the offer isn't applying to my account. Even though I am approved for the Pay in 4 plan. When I try to save offer, I get an error. No idea why.

i bought something through a canadian site and i guess bc of the foreign conversion from CAD to USD the 20% CB offer doesn't apply. but when i bought something through home depot the points were pending almost immediately, even though the amount didn't show.

How do you clear an "authorization in progress" transaction? I started an order but had to go back to my cart to fix an issue. I no longer have access to Pay in 4 until this temporary transaction drops, when I clearly haven't completed the order.

Pay in 4 is currently not available to residents of MO. I tried many times until I see this. Lol, why Missouri is excluded? Come on, PayPal, it is kind of discrimination.

interesting. wonder how they would catch it!
Just did an GC order via target.

First GC purchase worked and showed reward points pending.
Paypal probably has some AI program that will flag all whole number purchases for review.
