Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

I used a gew hours ago for a $140 purchase and got the offer for Pay in 4. Just tried to use at walmart.com with a total of $820 and was not approved for either pay in 4 or pay monthly. YMMV depending on the amount of the purchase

interesting. wonder how they would catch it!
Just did an GC order via target.

First GC purchase worked and showed reward points pending.
Pending does not mean it went through, still a possibility that it will get clawed back.

Anyone know definitely if you can use the Pay Monthly option and avoid paying the interest it quotes if you pay it off right away?

That's weird considering the terms seem to indicate that you can't repay a pay in 4 with a credit card.
P4 worked with credit cards before and also is working with CCs in this promotion too. Only some banks/CCs are not eligible to use in P4.

Where do you guys see points pending and how long does it take for points to show up? I bought a Home Depot GC and a couple of products yesterday with pay in 4 showing up.
However, today I don't see any points pending or showing under the Rewards section.
Under the Activity section, I see the HD purchase and below the charge amount I see Points pending. Is that it?

Just wait a day (basically until after midnight) and everything should reset again and the Pay In 4 should be there again.
The Pay in 4 will reject you if you try and back in and out of a transaction that's in the flow of a checkout process (such as maybe just returning to your cart or hitting the back button during the checkout flow). Try not to do that next time if you did that. Just remember the Seinfeld episode with the Soup Nazi where everybody had to step exactly to the left when approaching the counter and put their arm forward very deliberately to the cashier with their money, etc. in order not to get thrown out of the store. It's like the same way for these Pay In 4 transactions.

The points pending can be seen in your PayPal activity ledger and also in the Pay Later drop down menu after clicking on that and also in the Rewards section of PayPal which is another drop-down menu. So it's all over the place in your PayPal account. It officially takes up to 90 days for points to go from pending to redeemable says PayPal right on the Rewards page.

Yes it worked with my Citi card, not my chase.
