Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

Look man I'm just trying to help you, I'm not a lawyer. The specific language to me is that if you don't abide by the pay in 4 payment schedule, it hasn't been completed. It's vague. Maybe you could call them and ask or just hope it flies under the radar.

"Eligible Purchase(s)": Eligible Purchases are purchases made using either Pay in 4 or Pay Monthly that are completed during the Offer Period by an Eligible Participant who has saved the Offer.

Confirmed that my PayPal has this offer available and saved, but I don't see this option on the Samsung website nor Samsung Shop app. When I select PayPal during checkout, it only shows my credit/debit cards and bank, then the bottom shows applying for a PayPal credit card. Offer still shows $2000 in spending power, so unused. How are y'all seeing the Pay in 4 or Pay Monthly in checkout?

Pay in 4 is not available at all Merchants that accept regular Paypal. I don't know if that's the case with Samsung though

Can I make a purchase for 1600 with monthly pay later , get the 250 back since that's the max , then immediately pay the monthly balance off in full to avoid interest and then cash out the points in 90 days

Will that work or do I have to wait for the points to pay off balance

I have Unlimited Cash Rewards from BoFa. I did not use this time my BoFA CC but I did have cashbacks when ı used it in P4 before but dont remember the transcation record of back then.
That's good to know. I saw a few other people saying it counted towards online shopping in the past. But Paypal changes things a lot and I've never used BNP before.

Is it clear whether the 20% is up to $1,250 total spent per account? Or is it $1,250 per transaction and can be redeemed over and over again per transaction? Because I did another smaller transaction for the Paypal Pay in 4 promotion and I see pending cashback for that in 20% but I am unsure if this will be clawed back or not counted since I already maxed out $1,250 in another transaction yesterday.

It shows for me. You have to scroll to the bottom but it is there on Samsung site. BB it is on the top.

It is per account. You can do multiple transactions to get there but you wont et more than the $250 from $1,250.00 Total Spend.

Happy to report that Apple.com order of Iphone went through with pay in 4. I was pre-approved, and I unfroze my credit. Points are pending, which I think will go through once I pick up the phone. Now only trick is that If I do trade-in in store, will it screw up anything on Paypal side. Decisions decisions.

Some people like myself are showing more than that pending which is what's worrying. I have a feeling it's a bug from today because of the BF load, while people from yesterday etc. were showing the "correct" $250 cap. Or they just changed it to no limit to get people to sign up.

Based on terms. It's per eligible transaction (instead of account) so you could get a lot of points.
The odd thing is that people reported for than 25,000 points on a single transaction but it is pending so it could post for less or not. No one knows.
In short. Should be able to do $1250 over and over.

Edit. Maybe not… read the terms a little slower.

But at the same there's stuff I still need to buy and I'm afraid to use BNP because I'll have to pay off my current purchases right away to free up spending power.
It would be great if it is per transaction and we can do it over and over. I have other stuff I want to buy. LOL!

People who made use of the previous 5% promos said there was always a total cap. I hope they clarify things or adjust the points by tomorrow. I don't want to have to return stuff I bought from before I heard about the deal.

You know what. The terms are kind of confusing.
"For each Eligible Purchase, each Eligible Participant will receive a maximum of 25000 Points, which can be redeemed for $250 cash or other options (the "Reward") per Eligible Purchase."

But then it also states

"During the Special Offer Period, Eligible Participants will earn Points equivalent to 20% cash back on one or more Eligible Purchases up to $1,250 spent."

I'm actually leaning to believe that there is an account limit based on T&C but maybe it's not being enforced? We will see in about 90 days!

It says explicitly in the T&C that value holding cards are not qualified. Don't be surprised if you wind up losing points. People would do well by reading the thread.
I didn't buy any giftcards
