Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

I am trying to buy something on BestBuy, a $1000 laptop. I confirmed that I saved the offer in my PayPal account but Pay Later does not show up when I select PayPal as the payment method during checkout. All I see are the options to pay using my PayPal balance, credit card, or bank account, or apply for PayPal Credit, which I take is a credit card. Am I doing something wrong?

So it does seem like my account is missing something to use pay later option - any suggestions what it maybe? Because on the PayPal later option it does on login pay later with PayPal but when I login I don't see it - I'm wondering if my PayPal account is setup as a business account maybe the problem

Hmmm, same here. My PayPal account is also a business account. But it has the offer in the Rewards tab. My wife's personal PayPal account doesn't have the offer... so no go there either.

If your property tax takes PayPal, I don't see why not.

I spent a long time putting together an order through Walmart, chose pay in 4, and thought all was good. The Walmart screen said thank you for your order and told me how much money I saved. But Paypal showed "points pending" with no number next to it. Then I checked email, and I had an email from Walmart saying they canceled my order. And I had to log back in to Walmart and was forced to change my password. Sure enough, everything shows canceled. Reordered everything and used pay in 4 again, and exact same thing happened. So I tried again, but I just chose 3 items (all to be shipped), and this time, after choosing Pay in 4, the Paypal screen says it can't authorize me. And then, I had a new paypal message about usual activity. My previous 3 orders, including one at Walmart, went off without a hitch, but something is up now.

And those pending points still show over $800 each (over $1700 combined), so that's probably counting against my $5000 limit until those clear off. Fortunately, I'm still well under the limit. Hopefully, this clears up soon. I need to spend more money.

Edit: Chatted with a human from Walmart. He said, "Thank you for your patience. I've checked the details and I would like to let you know that our automated security system may have cancelled your order in error. The security check is there to protect your account and payment methods. We apologize if this causes any problems."

Walmart gave me a $5 promo code. Anyway, so I'll be waiting until the option returns. Frustrating.

It could be because you are using a VPN. Turn it off for making that transaction. Some sites, Walmart included have this new risk security system that camcels orders like that.

No, it couldn't, because I'm not using a VPN, nor a proxy. (Walmart ask me that, also.) Like I mentioned, I had just ordered from Walmart the previous day the same way without issue. They couldn't explain it.

Anyway, it might take a day before PayPal re-enables me for pay later.

But if I get a single declined order from Walmart again, I'll probably take my business elsewhere for my next order.

Not sure about you, but I only got 2% instead of 10 and my points are still only showing as pending.

Just bought/received $100 virtual Visa (issued by BH) via Kroger gift cards site.
Applied THANKFUL25 to subtract $5 from $5.95 fee.
Used PP Payin4 promo linked to 2% back WellsF Visa.
PP immediately acknowledged 20% PI4 back and 5% giftcards.com back.

Not cashback, but I'm seeing pending points and the number of points that are pending for the transaction right after ordering, except for my Walmart order I just made, which didn't have the number after "points pending", which I then found out was canceled by Walmart.

Points will remain pending for 90 days when successful.
