Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

Not true. $250 CB per $1250 spend.
That is the concern the wording certainly says that however, there is also some wording where they may max this out at $250 per account. Now I called myself because I had a transaction that wasn't showing any points and I had been already taking advantage of the 5 percent before the 20 percent happened. The rep I spoke to said the 5 percent was $250 per account. However the 20 percent was 250 PER TRANSACTION. I clarified and directly asked does that mean I can receive $250 in reward points on multiple occasions. I laid out doing three transactions with a total of $750 in reward points and she said yes.

Here's the thing this is just a call center with no real power and they could EASILY be wrong. We are just going to need to watch to see how these transactions post. I do however think if they don't pay out the $250 per transaction and not per account it's extremely shady.

my take is that regardless how you interpret the "Special Bonus Offer" terms, the "Bonus Offer" terms override and cap spend at $5000. What a mess, though.

I still see pay in 4 option for me. You guys might have done it too many times or backed up and need to wait a day for it to show up again.

I have 1 other pay in 4 transaction from earlier this week, but it was directly charged to a credit card. I don't see any outstanding balances in paypal.

Do you know how many pay-in-4 orders can we have going at once? Do we need to pay any of them completely off before being able to use pay-in-4 again?
