Pay in 4 has disappeared for me for hours after each of my Pay in 4 purchases. It came back 5 to 17 hours later until I had some get stuck in pending after Walmart canceled two orders. The cap is per purchase until the end of the 20% offer due to the global cap or end of the period.
So you mean the $1,250 max cap is per purchased and not per account? From your experience I think I should check it back later today to see if it's available.

Actually I made 3 purchased but one I have make a refund right away because I didn't not aware of the available coupon. If the capped is not per account but per transaction then I hope this won't affect my later purchased. I hope your purchased came through Walmart

There's some ambiguity in the terms, but my interpretation along with a couple AI engines, state there is no cap per participant, only per purchase. There are probably a dozen posts about that in this thread over the last day or two. Some of the wording just wouldn't make sense at all if is was per participant vs. per purchase, when you take them all in context.

Yes, it might come back later, or at least by tomorrow, as long as you don't have anything pending that doesn't show points. Paying off any existing ones could possibly help, but it's not definitive. It seems no matter what, there are delays in returning.

The offer's T&C is ambiguous. Don't listen to anyone in this thread regarding the language of the offer. They've been arguing about it for days

Great timing because I just got a new Chase Freedom account. Do I need to activate the 5% with Chase like with Discover card every quarter?
You do for the CC rewards - I have both of those. And I have to do that every quarter.

But the Pay in 4 option won't let you use Chase during the purchase. Discover has worked for me, though.

My pay in 4 has disappeared. I was going to do an order through pay monthly, I got approved, then it logged me out before being able to confirm. When I logged back in to try again, it said I was not approved due to "suspicious activity".

Now, BOTH Pay in 4 and Pay Monthly are gone. What a cluster.

The language may be ambiguous but the promo is operating crystal clear. People just have doubts about what they are seeing and experiencing. it will all become evident shortly or one day soon. for promos these days, it's impossible to explain it exactly so that everyone can understand it perfectly without writing a book. It's important to first make sure the process is executed properly and accurately rather than being overly worried about whether you've explained the process fully or not. It's no excuse to blame the terms as being ambiguous when you can clearly see with your own eyes what is happening, not our fault you don't believe your own eyes.

btw, ambiguous might not be the best way to describe it. if you can interpret the wording one of two way and the outcome only presents one way....it's not ambiguous anymore is it? ultimately the promotion is fully at the discretion of PayPal; completely. Unless there is an unlawful attempt to defraud, nothing we can say or do will override the ultimate outcome of the process.

It might come back in a day if you don't have any pending points that don't show a # of points due to the transaction not being completed.

So if $1,250 is the max per transaction, what's the max in total over multiple transactions through the duration of this promotion? Could we add more info to the OP?
The terms make it sound like $5,000 in total?
its 20% back up to $1250, then up to $5k its 5%.

So dont go above $1250 as in most cases you can easily get more than 5% back from any merchant regularly.

Any luck with any international airline purchase? too bad Costco.com does not take paypal.
I don't know why this is downvoted, but I would like to know if there are any issues with airline travel as well. United and Delta, for example accept Paypal pay in 4. I do not see any categorical prohibitions in the terms.
