Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

Would you mind sharing those screen shots if you still have them?
It was a link to an external hosting site, and now the image is not longer there. But some others have mentioned experiencing this as well.

Just because you don't understand it despite all the evidence isn't my problem.

I actually read it myself and figured it out. I used some paid AI LLMs afterwards to confirm. Then someone else spoke to two people at PayPal to confirm as well. Then we have had multiple people confirm getting more than $250 in pending points tagged on 20% deal. This reminds of a story about leading a horse to water. lol

There is NO evidence. Just your interpretation - I have no problem with you (repeatedly) sharing it, but you're doing others a great disservice by passing it off as fact.
Bottom line is that the T&C's can be interpreted many different ways. LLMs don't have the answer, and clueless outsourced CSR's don't have the answer either (not to mention you are cherry picking their responses, lol). Pending points are also meaningless, since they aren't even capping those as $1250 per purchase.
Just stop acting like it's a sure thing - it's far from it and it's best if folks understand this.

Can confirm I have all my accounts frozen and I was still able to get approval.
Paypal specifically told me I had to unfreeze Experian. After I did that, all was good for a while.

I bought home depot gc ($1000) from target and points (20,000) are showing as pending so it should work for any gc (including xbox)
Purchased a $100 Apple gc from Target and see it has 2,000 points pending

Does anyone see this option to pay now by later for Walmart? It seems it was availible on other Paypal enabled sites (such as majorfitness.com) too now its gone.

do you know under which section? Also, if paying off balances resets that limit?
If you click on the 20% shop now it appears at the top. And not sure.

Last night, I went through the process of using the pay monthly for that LG TV purchase I referenced earlier. After completing everything, on the LG website, it said there was an error. However, PayPal shows that they made a payment to LG but I have 0 points posted, so I'm not sure what is going on. I'm guessing the transaction didn't go through and that the PayPal money is not actually sent.
That will probably hang out there for 72 hours.

That's what happened to me, and the pending ones disappeared from my activity, but even then, it still shows them in my active plans (see attached), and I can't use Pay later (if the tab shows, it says not available).

Do the pending points hit the account if the full balance is paid off before the 4 scheduled payments?
I don't know what you mean by "hit the account".

The points will be pending for up to 90 days after the purchase, maybe even after you finish paying them off. Then you will get your rewards dollars.

Throwing this in as a DP as I did not see it elsewhere, made a $1250 payment towards Disney trip and the cash back triggered

Are you sure you got cashback and not just points pending. It's supposed to take up to 90 days to get cash available.
