Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

So did we ever figure out if it's actually capped at $250 back per account, or is it actually $250 per transaction? Obviously seems doubtful it's the latter but if it is... might as well go overboard.

Also, for anyone thinking of stacking Chase Freedom Dec PayPal bonus, have you actually able able to pay any Pay-in-4 installment with said card? For me, my Freedom and some other cards are not showing up, only shows my debit cards and my AMEX.

The 20% offer was giving me an error whenever I tried saving it, and then it disappeared.

I was looking for this info -

Eligible Purchase(s)": Eligible Purchases are purchases made using either Pay in 4 or Pay Monthly that are completed during the Offer Period by an Eligible Participant who has saved the Offer. Eligible Purchases do not include: (1) purchases that are marked as "pending" as of the end of the Offer Period, (2) purchases with Pay in 4 where the first payment has not been successfully processed, (3) any purchase or portion of a purchase that involves a payment method other than Pay in 4 or Pay Monthly; (4) purchases made at a merchant who enrolled in Pay Later within 30 days prior to the start of the promotion; and (5) any purchase involving non-profit organizations, gambling, security brokers/dealers, foreign currency/money orders, and stored value cards. Satisfaction of Eligible Purchase criteria will be determined solely by PayPal.
Reward Redemption: Reward should be available in Eligible Participant's Account Overview section of the PayPal Account to redeem for cash and other redemption options within fourteen (14) days after qualifying to receive the Reward, although may take longer. See the "Redeeming Points" section of the PayPal Rewards Agreement for details.

During the Special Offer Period, Eligible Participants will earn Points equivalent to 20% cash back on one or more Eligible Purchases up to $1,250 spent.

What if my total spent is more than $1250? does this mean I will get a max of $250 per transaction even if I go over 1250?

How do we know if a store supports Pay in later for the 20% off.

I just used the offer at one store. Trying on another store, but it is not working. The option to pay in 4 is greyed out. Thanks!

I've had this work fine with two purchases so far. Pretty great deal, and you can place the order with a cashback card to sweeten the deal.

$320 for an Ayaneo Konkr Pocket Fit handheld (Ayaneo's Shopify site)
$240 for Unifi Dream Router 7 (Direct from Ubiquiti)

Both orders placed with Pay in 4, both immeadiately showed me a payment schedule, and the 20% in points pending. If this cashback is anything like the other PayPal cashback promos I've used over the years, expect the points to take anywhere from 30-90 days to process. I had Lowe's and Hotels.com promos take 2 or 3 months before I received the points, while smaller deals like Taco Bell purchases came back in about a month.

How much time had elapsed between the 2 transactions? Did you do one after the other? In my case, I did one transaction and for the other one, it says Pay in 4 is unavailable. Thanks.

I successfully used Pay in 4 on one website, and now when I try to use it on a different website Pay in 4 doesn't show up, and PayPal only gives me the option to Pay Monthly. Has anyone else had a similar issue and been able to resolve it?
Not all sites offer the Pay in 4 thru PP

I was approved for Pay in 4 and made two purchases under the $1500 limit, then I tried to do it a 3rd time and was denied and now the option on longer appears?!

Has anyone tried two different PayPal accounts in one household? I am afraid if my try with my spouses account under same address, they may flag both accounts and take off the pending points from the initial account.

Up to $1250 spend is per transaction. Reads to me as if it can be used multiple times. This is going to be quite good - like almost as good as the Bing 30% cashback from way back when.Edit: Sounds like it's total spend of $1250, but can be spread across multiple purchases. Still pretty darned great!
Wow great memory. That Bing promo was the best

For those who got marked as suspicious, when trying to do this for a 2nd, 3rd, or more times, did the pending points disappear from the transactions already completed?
