Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

Paypal paylater application denied due to "Application information tied to unusual activity." and wont show up anywhere during checkout.
Rep told me that it is fully automated process and cant be intervened manually and suggested to try again.
Any ideas to bring it back.

I didn't read the fine print, but 20% cash back does NOT work on digital video game purchases. I bought a mix of physical and digital Nintendo Switch games at Target, and paypal split the order to only doing 20% on the physical video games.

Incredible deal!! Staples is part of the 20% back promotion and has the Switch 2 available with same day 30min pickup. $360 for a Switch 2 is impossible to beat.
If you buy it at Staples, good luck. When I placed an order with them on the 20th for a Switch 2, it was canceled 30 minutes later, and I haven't been able to use this deal since. I've heard that others have had orders canceled by Staples too.

Is this dead? I was checking out on Etsy and the "Pay in 4" was there. I needed to make a change before submitting and all of a sudden it was gone (just after midnight my time). It's also unavailable in my walmart account now. Only thing showing is the PayPal credit card and pay in full options for both sites.

I just barely used Pay in 4 with Best Buy. That was at about 3:15 am MST.

The 20% offer was giving me an error whenever I tried saving it, and then it disappeared.
Hey, same happned to me. I clicked on pay in 4 and went all the way till link your card screen, as soon as I clicked + button to add card, it says something went wrong. I tried this 2 -3 times and suddenly Pay in 4 disapperd all togather!

How/Where do you see if the 20% Cash Back was applied to your purchase?
----

Now I see points are pending in Paypal Activity.
