Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

This didn't originally work for me because I had just unfroze my accts. It must take a couple of days for the 'unfreezes' to take effect and show in Paypal. Then today I try to buy something at Walmart and see the BNPL as a payment method. WooHoo!! Then it is declined so I call Paypal.

I had put my bank debit card as a method of payment since all my other credit cards are Chase. Paypal tells me my debit card was linked and I swear I confirmed it but they claim the card wasn't confirmed and that's why payment got denied.

So he confirmed it for me saying it could take up to 72 hours. Well I didn't want to wait so I asked if I could just set my bank as preferred MOde of payment and use that. He said that should work as my bank is confirmed. So I tried that and NO BNPL option...not even with any mode of payment.

So I called Paypal again to find out what the deal is. They claim once denied, it will take weeks for the denial to come off your acct. Paypal can't just go in and take the denial off.

Oh well, so much for me getting in on the deal. I'm jealous of all your savings in this thread. Right now I hate Paypal.

"Eligible Purchase(s)": Eligible Purchases are purchases made using either Pay in 4 or Pay Monthly that are completed during the Offer Period by an Eligible Participant who has saved the Offer. Eligible Purchases do not include: (1) purchases that are marked as "pending" as of the end of the Offer Period, (2) purchases with Pay in 4 where the first payment has not been successfully processed, (3) any purchase or portion of a purchase that involves a payment method other than Pay in 4 or Pay Monthly; (4) purchases made at a merchant who enrolled in Pay Later within 30 days prior to the start of the promotion; and (5) any purchase involving non-profit organizations, gambling, security brokers/dealers, foreign currency/money orders, and stored value cards. Satisfaction of Eligible Purchase criteria will be determined solely by PayPal.
Sounds like Pay in 4 AND Pay Monthly are eligible for the 20%...good to know

This is a good deal if you can make it work, but it is really hard to make it work for eBay.
If you're going to try, you'll need to log out of your PayPal account and disconnect it from eBay. Otherwise, PayPal will immediately process the purchase on your default payment method. Also, eBay will send you to PayPal, which sends you to a separate "Pay in 4" site, which probably won't send you back to eBay when you're done, so your purchase won't complete, but you'll have a payment pending on PayPal, so the deal may not even work.

I have an approved PI4 credit line=$2100.
I have paid off 3 of 4 PI4 purchases and 20% PP rewards are pending.
PI4 is not an option when I tried to buy a $100 virtual Visa via Kroger's partner this morning.
PP AI won't address the issue.

Does anyone know how to check the pay in 4 line of credit from PayPal? Also does paying of an existing pay in 4 help to do another transaction?

I was able to do one transaction of less than $50, but haven't been able to do another one after more than 24 hours after the first transaction.

would be great if PayPal's system actually worked as intended... Gave up trying and waiting for the Pi4 option to show up so I just made the big purchased without it. POS

Before I go out and make my $1000 monitor purchase....how long does this "cashback" take to hit your account and become redeemable?

Is this a good deal to do with the new AirPods 4 gen being 69.99 at Walmart and target? Does anyone think they're going to go EVEN lower? I've never owned AirPods and this is literally the cheapest I've seen them so thinking of just doing it but pls lmk. The threads for those deals are so dead I'm thinking it's not a good deal?
