Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

just a few days ago, you were in here arguing that the promo was working perfectly and was perfectly crystal clear... that's quite the 180. You don't have time to elaborate and contribute anything meaningful, but you'll drop in several times a day and drop some nonsense.
no, you missed the point.

perfectly is probably not the best word for it; "as designed" is a better description. the process is working as designed whether we want to argue about the ambiguity of the terms or not. in the proper context, it was in contrast to the language in the terms. never said I agreed with how it was working and if the way is was functioning is good or bad.

in this post, it is a disaster because I believe the implementation is sloppy and the individuals pulling it together are unprofessional. not liking what I see about features and functions disappearing and reappearing randomly. merchant participation is a mystery, never heard of that one. also I didn't realize the extent which AI would interfere so heavily in the approval process.

everything worked perfectly for me (so far) but when I see everyone else having so many issues, I'm not so naive as to believe it's a great promo overall. it's great for me but overall this promo is a spectacle. Anytime the customers are having a problem with taking advantage of the deal, not because of the process but because of confusion on how to execute it, that's the disaster. Hidden buttons, missing points, blank screens, numbers that don't make sense.... I wish we could have a long discussion thread about the various deals and the benefits of the promo instead of what we think it means, how each of us think it should be executed, and what we believe the final outcome will be. For example, I've never seen so much discussion about "pending" points ever, loans and interest, hard pulls, etc and I can't imagine why anyone would insist on calling. Wink

Pay in 4 disapperd, I can see Pay monthly and tempted but I guess it's not worth a Hard pull on credit history even though I plan to pay off right after the purchase.

It just says points pending. Yours has a number under that?
Yes, it shows a number. If you go back in the thread I saw someone had two purchases, one showed points while the other didn't. I'm not sure what the cause is.

I haven't been following too closely to the thread but I doubt it. They're probably just mentioning their pending points. Accounts > Rewards > Rewards activity. It should show the amount of pending points you have
I believe this tab also got details of your purchas items on your invoice. So whoever bought stored value cards, they do have the detail to review. High likely they will deny those points

It seems that if I order something above $1.5k, the pay in 4 with 0% apr is not available anymore and only the pay monthy is. However, the lowest apr is pretty high. Can I still get this deal if I pay in full the first month?

I was eyeing on RingConn Smart Ring and I had Pay-in-Four option this morning, I wanted to stack it with my HSA and the card was getting declined. I resolved the issue with my card provider and when I tried to purchase now, I don't see Pay in Pay-in-Four anymore. Same for Lenovo website.

Pay in 4 is not available to residents in Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico and North Dakota.

Pay Later in monthly installments is available for me, but each option has a decent amount of interest attached to it. Bummer.
