11/26/2025 10:28am PST Update: This is now limited to ONE transaction, with 20% rewards back up to $1,250. Paypal email memo notes that the promotion for spend on multiple transactions prior to the notification will be honored.
Walmart:
1) you have to make sure Paypal is not a saved method of payment in your wallet. If so, go into your account and remove it
2) When you are in checkout, uncheck the box that says Remember Paypal as a payment option.

It's a unmitigated disaster...I can't explain it; would take too long.
Called Paypal cause a ~$600 PI4 order got 0 points.
Paypal said it is up to the seller to give the points or not even if they accept the PI4 option!
