Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

Which is why I have asked 3 times for someone with firsthand experience to reply. But let's see how many people who are just guessing continue to reply to me anyways
One of the main reasons why this thread is almost 200 pages long and basically useless for anyone trying to find useful information.
I have firsthand information and just gave it to you. Point being - it doesn't matter whether someone reports back "It works! I've got points pending!" since points pending mean nothing at this point, unless they are going to completely disregard every single line of their T&C's.

Not sure you understand what I mean by firsthand information. I don't mean someone who has firsthand read the terms and conditions. I've done that as well. I'm asking for someone who has made a purchase using Paypal Credit and tried to use this promo, who can then verify if they received points or not. Have you done that?

I thought the question was simply if there is a limit on the number of transactions you can make.....not what's the limit before they shut you down. I haven't see anywhere that says you get to make 5 and you're done....so there is no limit; keep going for as long as you can.

No one here has any *first hand* information about that (since *all* points are still pending) so it's only guessing at this point. I'll guess 1 year. Anybody else? shake head

Thank you!!! Seriously, you are a hero. I never imagined I'd get a response that wasn't just a guess this late in the thread!! Could you please report back if you happen to see the points show up on it later? But I think this is pretty conclusive evidence that Paypal Credit does not work! I also had my points show up instantly when I made a Pay in 4 purchase earlier, so them not showing up here is pretty convincing. Its a bit concering that the purchase was over the $1250 limit, but I believe I've read elsewhere in this thread that you would at least get the max $250 in rewards if you made a purchase that exceeded the limit. Gave you all the rep I could!!

Try saving the CB offer on the PP website, then closing the browser and making the purchase through the phone app instead. The offer may well turn up again! Good Luck!

Maybe I am being inpatient... but yeah would love to hear if anyone sees their points with paypal credit?!

I'll probably try to cancel the order in a few hours if I dont see the points to not deal with the return. Not getting 20% isnt worth it.

I think your intuition is spot on, I don't see any reason why the points would show up immediately for Pay in 4 but not for Paypal Credit other than the fact that Paypal Credit doesn't qualify.

PayPal can't even tell you when the cashback will arrive, it doesn't make sense to consider buying anything.
