Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

It still shows for me under Rewards. And if I open it, I see the attached screenshot.
Under rewards in my account the offer is there and it confirms I saved the offer and have pending point. But prior to today a little 20% icon showed in the very top left of the my phone screen . Not now....hummm. I need some tires and 20% would have been nice. Thought there is a 10% off shopping link in PayPal for Simpletire which is my fallback.

Just got on my desktop so I could see your screen shot. That is what I have in my rewards section, but as mentioned the little 20% off icon is not there at the very top left of my screen as it was prior to today.

I had 1 transaction at Best Buy yesterday for $900. The points posted as pending right away, I never saw an indication of 20% icon at any time during checkout, even while selecting PI4. I did use Cap1 CB site for 22% in rewards back on my purchase (which shows as pending also).

I just tried to check out with Best Buy again and it's showing PI4 as an option still and Paypal is still showing the 20% offer in the rewards section of the app.

The merchant refunds paypal since they are the ones that fully paid them. your payin4 balance due gets reduced by the amount of merchant refund. ordered something from samsung and they gave me 10% back not to cancel. this yielded the last payment (4th in the series) of the pain4 to be reduced by the refund amount.

Major CB site has 13% back in most categories at Walmart right now (not electronics unfortunately). Needed 4 tires for truck, they were already on major sale, another 33% off made it a no brainer.

I just logged into my Cap. One shopping account. My Best Buy link through trip is showing but nothing pending for my $600 LG TV purchase. Help section says confirmation could take 30 days. Since you already received yours I suspect I'll get screwed over. Won't be the first time. SMH, at least the 20% pay in four for $120 is showing.

When dealing with Cap 1 cashback, I click the email link, then click the 'activate' button in the browser extension. I've never had a problem with cashback not showing up. The Cap1 CB showed up right after I picked up the order (I haven't gotten the email confirmation yet). When I order, I screenshot the order info with the terms of the offer and the percentage back, as well as the date and time. I've had points incorrectly applied twice and both times they corrected it and added the proper cashback. I didn't need to submit the screenshots.

Tried checking out this morning with the Pay in 4 option to utilize the 20% back and received an error message at the end of the process. I see the authorization in my paypal account and my payment account. The order ended up timing out on the website so I went in and tried to place it again and got an error again and then an email saying that I was denied due to unusual account activity. Now if I try to check out with Paypal the Pay in 4 option is gone. Sent support a message, hoping to get the status reset so I can utilize it but not too hopeful.

Wow, nice score. The link through sites I use usually have tires as exclusions although other automotive items are not excluded for Walmart.. I assume you are referring to Top Cashb.... have you confirmed that 13% is pending?

Made some bunch of small purchases, and total 5 purchases in pay later. Now PayPal declined my pay later and sent a letter to me said too much loan in this month. How to solve this? I just used ~$600

Yep, acc. shows two trips to Best Buy. The email offer that I linked through on then once on the BB site I went to the extensions tab on my browser and clicked on Capital one again which confirmed activated.

If the time of your order matches with the tracking on their site, go to your order with the total, clock the CB plug in, expand the terms and screenshot everything for later if it doesn't apply.

Yes that's the site.

Ah just noticed tires in the exclusions, so it probably won't track. Honestly I was going to pull the trigger yesterday anyway and the 13% was a nice bonus this morning, so if it doesn't happen, I'm still happy, still a great deal.

Now if only I could buy a physical visa gift card at 20% off to pay for the install (since there is no way a walmart "tech" is going anywhere near my cars).

But regardless this is the first time I've seen so many categories at this high CB rate for Walmart so hopefully others find it useful. Of course most big ticket items are electronics and that's only 2%.

You can't solve it, you're done for the month. Maybe if it is still around Dec 1st you can do more. I'm surprised you got 5.
