11/26/2025 10:28am PST Update: This is now limited to ONE transaction, with 20% rewards back up to $1,250. Paypal email memo notes that the promotion for spend on multiple transactions prior to the notification will be honored.
Walmart:
1) you have to make sure Paypal is not a saved method of payment in your wallet. If so, go into your account and remove it
2) When you are in checkout, uncheck the box that says Remember Paypal as a payment option.

Looks like the party's over. Congrats to those who got their purchases in. Was waiting on Black Friday pricing hopefully for a few things but I guess I will miss the boat on the 20% Paypal cashback on those. Oh well.
I racked up about 46K points through this deal, so I milked it pretty well for purchases I was going to make anyways.
