Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

I bought two items on November 26 and the points are still pending. Does anyone else have this issue? Also, can I just pay off the Pay in 4 purchases and still keep the points (if they ever go through) Thanks!

I have the same question... would like to just pay it off now.

Is this a one time use or you can make multiple purchases until reaching the $250 limit?

The points will show as pending for up to 90 days or so, so you're not going to get them immediately. There's no penalty for paying it off now.

Can someone suggest some creative ways to stack this cashback? I don't need any electronics right now. Most of my groceries come from Costco, which doesn't support PayPal.
In general, if you can use a cash back web site (like a top one, if you follow), for a store you want, you can get a % back that way, then use the PayPal 20% deal, and if you have a Citi card, use that as a payment method for your pay in 4 plan. This way you get cash back, rewards and CC points. I've heard a few other non-Chase cards will work for this, but I only have a Citi card.

(Asking for a friend) Account has the promo activated. Never used the promo. Earlier in the day, they saw the Pay in Four option available, but still didn't use it. Now they want to checkout, and it's gone. Only the monthly payment is available (and that requires a SSN). They didn't make any purchases anywhere else in between, either. Any chance it's coming back?
How much were they trying to buy a purchase for? There's a cap on the purchase price for pay in 4 at $1500, so if it was over that amount, you wouldn't get the pay in 4 option.

I don't see the offer in the app or on the website. I used pay in 4 a couple of months ago, is that why I don't have the offer? It was long before black Friday sales

Buy the second on at Wally first and see that the point are pending, then cancel the first. Don't expect that the points from the first account will be offered on another purchase, although it might come back

Also, does Cap 1 shopping app even allow PP?

The pending part is for PP to carry through and (somewhat)objectively verify that the item was sold and not returned. Paying off the Pay in 4 doesn't alter the points. But no guarantee the offer will return

Questions
(1) you sure that 4.7k ain't from any other offers that is giving out points after completing a task?
(2) if it pertains to the 20% offer, are you able to tell which transaction it is associated with? If u can tell, is that transaction still on the pay in 4 payment plan or you paid it off completely?

I don't see it and have never used pay in 4. I'm assuming the offer is over
