Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

I am trying to choose pay in 4 but I keep getting error - "This card cant added to this plan , please choose another card " with all my debit cards and credit cards . Any fixes ?
Use a bank account. Many cards are excluded because they charge fees that are too high or their limit isn't high enough. Some cards work, many don't.

Gift card?
Yes, I bought 5 Amazon gift cards for a total of $450 from Best Buy. I have 90,000 points pending. I did the same thing last year on a different deal and I did get all the points.

Hopefully I am not late to the party. I have saved the offer but hasn't used yet. Anyone tried it on GCs, especially Home Depot or Lowes? Thanks in advance!
YMMV with gift cards, the points show pending, but don't think anyone has gotten a payout yet (GCs are excluded from the offer).

I know for sure they work at walmart but the points have not gone payable yet. Walmart also has $500 amex gift cards (with $7 fee).

Gift card retailers will not accept pay in 4 so you have to do it via walmart, staples, etc.

Friggin hate Paypal. They refused my business account to even have the option, and my personal account just keeps giving me card errors despite trying both credit and debit cards.
This offer is only for personal accounts.

Use a bank account to fund the pay in 4. Only a few select credit cards will work.

Where does this 20% cash back come to? Does it lower your remaining payments or apply to your pay pal balance?
Neither, they pay as rewards (cash back) which you can then transfer to your bank account.

Yes, lots of people have. Whether or not they'll go payable, still questionable.

Pay in 4 was available 2 hours ago at Walmart but it's not coming up as an option right now. I removed and readded to my Walmart account and still nothing
Pay in 4 does not go away when the offer runs out. You can still use it for no points. I'm on walmart right now and the option is showing. You have to uncheck the "remember my paypal" before clicking to use paypal.

Sometimes it just depends on their servers and the load too it appears, I remember it wasn't showing once then refreshed and it was there.
