Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

Wrong, just stop with the nonsense. My first purchase on 11/18 eBay purchase had pending points that are already finalized. It most certainly does NOT coordinate with a return policy.

Delivered on Mon, Nov 24
Returns accepted through Dec 24.

You're just making excuses trying to feel like you are right. Stop telling people to wait for your return window to close before you expect your pending points to complete, that's not a thing.

Please no one call Paypal asking why your points haven't finalized yet when your return window may have already closed or if you think you might have to wait until February based on the confusion some of these posts are causing because some people get their points and some don't.
What is your problem? What excuses? Are you an angry drunk or something? I'm just providing info to try and STOP people from reaching out to paypal asking questions and drawing attention - YOU are the one telling people their points should be payable and making them all paranoid.

Your ebay seller likely does not accept returns. Cash back/rewards always take return windows into effect and they determine that for each store. In some cases, rewards may come before the return window is fully closed but that is pretty rare and usually a mistake.

Calm the F down.

Sorry, I have not paid yet my property taxes because I'm waiting 2 more days for the 5% extra from Chase. That combined will help me with a higher discount despite the extra 1% charge for Dec
Chase offer will not stack with this. You can't use chase cards with paypal "pay later".

You're going to miss the 20% waiting for an extra 5 that won't come.

Thanks. I have a 0% purchase offer on my card, do you think that will affect anything if I use this Paypal offer? I don't want to mess that up.
Is the 0% purchase for a single order only using Discover? This PayPal offer is their own credit.

I got the email the other day stating the terms had been changed and me early purchases would be honored, but that I was essentially done with the offer. Since then, I've done two more pay later payments and both have 20% in points pending. It'll be interesting to see if they materialize.

Can you use a gift card in conjunction with PayPal & still activate the offer?

(Trying to bring the price down to where the PayPal deal will activate but don't want to get stuck with gift cards if it doesn't work)

For me, the "you authorized this payment" email from paypal, which comes immediately after completing the purchase, has a "Paypal rewards, we applied one offer to this purchase" message at the top.

Were you past your return window on your purchase? Just wondering if they are waiting for it to expire before issuing points.
No, thr item won't even be delivered until mid December at soonest. Konkr Pocket Fit from Ayaneo. Strange to get the points so soon, because I can use them to pay for the next payment.

Thanks. I saved the offer, then used the pay in four option today (ebay) and the reward points showed up as pending (in Paypal rewards) right after the purchase was complete.

So if I don't see points pending it means it didn't apply to the purchase? I made a purchase yesterday and nothing

It depends on what you bought and the return policy. If you bought a gift card or paid a bill (something that can't be refunded) it happens pretty quick. Other things will take the full 90 days.
The return policy isn't over because the item (Konkr Pocket Fit) won't be delivered until mid December, at soonest. I was surprised to get the points back so soon. The item hasn't even been shipped.

Blah blah blah.
Traditional small cashback websites with no power over merchants must wait for return windows to close and depend on the generosity of merchants to pay up before they can payout to their clickers. Paypal is a $50B business, they have no such problems with cb which is a tiny part of their business. Learn the difference.

Total of 25000 in combination with whatever points we've already received right? So if I already got 21000 points before I have possibly 4000 points left I could get?
yeah basically this.
