Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

It seems like it's not only for 1 transaction. I think it's up until you max out at $1250.

Pending doesn't mean anything. People are getting maxed out at $250 even though they did far more than $25k points.
But you are right people are getting points for more then one transaction if they did before they change their terms.

Has anyone who got locked out of the "Pay In 4" option due to pending authorizations, and then subsequently been able to have a PayPal CSR remove those pending authorizations, been able to have their account refreshed and have the "Pay In 4" option show back up again?

Count me in to the group who had them removed by the CSR, but I'm wondering if that ever leads to having the option show back up again... especially as I'm trying to purchase a limited-time laptop deal, and this deal itself only lasts for 2.5 more days.

Thanks in advance!
Same camp. My CSR was useless and didnt even remove pending authorizations. I had to wait it out.

Been 48 hours. Pay in 4 has not shown again.

I used paypal pay later in Home depot, but I do not see the credit on it yet. When can I see it? Do I have you use paypal credit to get this 20% off?

Check all the way at the bottom of the rewards offer page...it should show pending...
Nope. No mention of the points, even the next day. Paypal ended the promo for me, (I already may 2 purchases over the past 3 weeks, and received the "ending" email) but the it's still sitting there in my reward list. And yes, my old purchases are there, including the one they already delivered.

I think a few people were able to sneak in an additional qualifying purchase before Paypal ended the BNPL / Pay in 4 promotion for them, but mine definitely seems to be no longer qualifying for the cashback promo. It's probably just stuck there, bugged out as a few others mentioned.

What happens if you return the item but already cashed out your points?
I'd assume they'd automatically draw your checking account for the difference, but I'm not willing to try. I intend to keep the items I purchased with the promo.

I tried at Walmart online, but I didn't see the option for Pay Later from PayPal at all. I did see the option for applying PayPal credit, but not Pay Later. I guess it didn't work for Walmart.

My order of $600 amazon gift card at bestbuy was cancelled!!! Will that order count as the "one purchase" and therefore I can't do it anymore?

Thanks for yet another data point that the ChatGpt interpretation was flawed.

I'm not quite willing to put money on it yet, but I bet that no one is going to receive a penny more than $250 in rewards. We will see as more data points continue to come in.

I'm glad I didn't spend a bunch of money believing that this was some sort of infinite money glitch. Although that would have been great! If the tables were turned I'm sure I would be regretting not having made more purchases...
I'll be disappointed if the >$250 in points don't come through, but even if they don't, everything I bought was stuff I was going to be buying anyways (although maybe not this exact minute), so it was worth the chance. We'll see how everything goes. If anything, I look to be part of the class action lawsuit that eventually would get filed, where I'd get exactly 37 cents from the settlement after the lawyers are all paid up.

on the last part, in case anyone is thinking I'm serious>

Sure, just DM me in 3 weeks and I'll let you know when if it has been delivered yet or not. The IndieGoGo orders are supposed to be delivered first, and Ayaneo seems to be struggling to fulfill those orders quickly. It may be next year before I get it.
Thanks! I'll be sure to DM you.

So, no one has had luck with multiple purchases after the terms changed?

Apologies if this has been addressed already in this appropriately long thread ....
Has anyone had issues with using the same credit card across two different Paypal accounts for the Pay Later? I did one on one account, and now it's stuck on the checkout screen "Confirm a few details to apply" for a second Paypal account.
