Can I cancel the order if I don't get the cashback? Also if I happen to return the order later will the cashback stay?
It does seem that they are paying out cashback points within the return window. So you could wait till the cashback money is out of PayPal control and return stuff. For instance, I bought stuff at Best Buy, and I think I can return it up until the middle of January.

When selecting the Pay Later option, it shows options for payment plans up to 84 months, but all of them are with interest @ 21% APR (even though it says at the top of the page "Up to 6 months no interest).

What am I missing?

Refund goes to PayPal, they will withhold the amount for points redeemed

My assumption is we would need to purchase via the app as i was hoping to buy airfare but American Airlines is not accessible via the app.

PayPal terms strictly state that it'll take 90 days to issue the points, which by then most, if not all return windows would close. I personally don't like how PayPal pulled this shady stuff... it screwed me over by not letting me use the 'Pay in 4' even though I was fully eligible. I'm sure someone is going to sue them over this.

Hit or miss on different accounts at different vendors. I believe some have gotten the go ahead at WallyIf you don't get it you could try going in sideways with a different browser, etc.Bottom line if you get the offer you get it. If you don't, you're out of luck
It will not work for Walmart. I tried at Samsung website and it showed up, but I didn't buy any.

Just curious - How small?
Today's purchase was $400. And that $400 still wouldn't have maxed out the 20% rewards. Only thing I can think of is that the 5% back that preceded the 20% was also included in the $1250 total spend. I didn't max out the rewards total of 25000, but when I include those 5% purchases from earlier, my total spend across both promotions for 5% back and 20% back comes to about $1300.

You can buy from the website, doesn't have to be through PayPal app/site. I just placed an order and my rewards points are pending.

You're probably right. Or worse, as per the new terms, they might approve only the first transaction and void every pay-later purchase afterward. No one really knows. The next 90 days will reveal everything…
It was straight up in the terms and conditions of the promo that maximum points was 25,000 which is $250 per ACCOUNT. This was before the term change to single transaction only.

Do people really not read the T&S? It's like...2 pages long.

No. Can't use Chase for pay in 4.
