Got my Nov 19th and 20th cashback. It looks like Paypal is limiting everything to $250 (250k pts) rewards total. My 2nd purchase's points on Nov 20th were decreased to account for the $250 total cashback.

So looks like they did allow more than 1 purchases because you did twice successfully.

Can anyone confirm that you can do multiple times? The term said that only 1 time of purchase.
It used to be multiple purchases until they changed the terms and limited it to only one. If you've already done one no further purchases will qualify for 20%.

He did it way before the terms changed though. Have you read through this thread or the wiki?

I can confirm. I made multiple purchases and they capped rewards at $250. Fortunately I had access to two other family members accounts and had spread purchases out among them for $750 back although I had overspent hoping they would give points above $250.

Guys I am not sure why but I tried like 5 cards from 3 banks - Wells, Bofa, even Sam's Synchrony but nothing works. Any help? It won't allow me to add the card to pay. FYI they were all credit cards if that helps.

How are you all actually getting in touch with PayPal?

Home Depot for some dumbass reason split my single purchase into two separate charges, so I only got points pending for the smaller $250 portion of a ~$1250 purchase.

Chat rep was zero help and told me I had to e-mail "[email protected]" and I've not gotten any response from that after two e-mails.

Can someone confirm: does buying Amazon gift card from BB work? Can I just buy 1000$ worth? Or, can i buy visa gift cards from Kroger? And do I still just do pay in 4?

Bullshit! It's supposed to be $250 max per transaction, not per account. The account cap is $1000 cash back from a $5000 spend. It was confirmed by two reps.

Quote from TheEdge :
I just talked to Martin from Paypal over the phone. He wasn't sure if the $1250 was total spend or single transaction. He was honest and said he'd rather be slow with the truth than fast with a lie... so he reached out to that department. He got back to me and said that it is a transactional cap. I confirmed with him by saying "so I can keep spending and getting 20% since I'm already well over $1,250 across multiple transactions" to which he replied "yes".

Even though he was confident, I called back and solicited yet another rep's thoughts. They transferred me to the approrpriate department and Jane echoed what Martin had said. It's a transactional limit, not a total spend cap. She said the cap for total transactions is $5,000.

Has anyone that had a cancelled order with a transactions with purchase worth $1,250 (25,000 points) after the terms changed tried to see if a subsequent order would post points?
