Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

Has anyone gotten points yet for spending over $1250 using monthly payment? I want to use the CB on something over $2000 with monthly pay later option.

Got the full 25,000 points possible with my account for a $1,625 Sony purchase. Also got an additional 8,100 points for PayPal's 5% at Sony offer and combined that with another $50 in clickthru CB deal!

it works. 1125 max for amazon...u can add other gc to max out 1250
So, basically buy 1125 worth ofAmazon eGift cards from best buy and that should trigger it? Does the Kroger visa eGift also work?

So got my points for a 21st transaction that just went back to Samsung (refused the package). Let's see what happens with my other 22nd transaction as full points are still pending.

I dont get this Paypal adjusting points to 250 max. They said they will honor earlier terms but which earlier terms since they are misleading (per transaction amount somewhere and per total transactions somewhere else)

Anyone know if the offer is still good after a cancelled order? The order shows the pending points, but it has been refunded. Would I be able to place another order for the points or is my offer cooked now?

It won't let me pick anything other than my bank account... which was fine by me!

Before the end of the month, I will check and see if they'll let me pay with my Freedom card which has 5% this month at PayPal.

i am sort of in the same predicament with my wife's account. She did get the email that she's done and her paylater being fulfilled, but the 20% offer is still available. She never got approved for payin4 just pay.monthly. I am hoping they post the points even if the transaction was cancelled and money refunded. Wishful thinking.

Bullshit! It's supposed to be $250 max per transaction, not per account. The account cap is $1000 cash back from a $5000 spend. It was confirmed by two reps.
Have you received pending points for MULTIPLE transactions in excess of 25,000?

same here.
Reading online reviews of Best Buy digital cards, it feels like a black hole! Some waited 4 weeks to receive their digital cards! What a mess.

How are you all actually getting in touch with PayPal?

Home Depot for some dumbass reason split my single purchase into two separate charges, so I only got points pending for the smaller $250 portion of a ~$1250 purchase.

Chat rep was zero help and told me I had to e-mail "[email protected]" and I've not gotten any response from that after two e-mails.
they are likely swamped with how popular this deal is and likely short staffed over the holidays. Probably the only deal I thought worth doing but I don't qualify... it would have helped offset the tariffs and taxes. Just as well.. putting away money for tough times.

Hi Guys, What's 'pay later' ? I 'saved' the offer on my paypal account, went to bestbuy.com and paid with paypal 'pay in 4' option (which is going to get those 4 payments from my checking account) - did I do it right? Thanks.
