Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

Hi Guys, What's 'pay later' ? I 'saved' the offer on my paypal account, went to bestbuy.com and paid with paypal 'pay in 4' option (which is going to get those 4 payments from my checking account) - did I do it right? Thanks.
yep. Pay later = pay in 4 or pay monthly. You should see points pending under your transactions page

Looks like I am also capped at $250 in points despite having had more points pending. Sad!

Thanks! Will keep an eye on pending points - I did store pickup on BB order. Once it's ready and payment is processed, I guess those points will show up. Thanks again!

How are you all actually getting in touch with PayPal?Home Depot for some dumbass reason split my single purchase into two separate charges, so I only got points pending for the smaller $250 portion of a ~$1250 purchase.Chat rep was zero help and told me I had to e-mail "[email protected]" and I've not gotten any response from that after two e-mails.
I think it depends on how much you are approved for the pay later option. Mine also got split one day later, but full points are pending.

Does this work with paypal business accounts? I was able to save the offer to my account, but I never get a Pay Later option for paypal, only PayPal Credit! (not the same!)

If my pending from apple is still pending...should I just cancel and reorder for in-store pickup instead of shipping? Will the 20% cashback award be reactivated?

When did you place your order though? Mine was on Nov 28th/29th right after they changed the terms to a single transaction instead of each transaction until the $250 cap is reached.

So I don't think my scenario is going to fix itself.

They're counting the $250 charge as my single transaction limit with 5162 points pending, and the near $1000 charge is getting absolutely nothing.

The $1000 charge is the one that completed first, and I would have been fine with it if that was the one that got the points and the $250 charge didn't. Just annoying all around.

I'm gonna contact Home Depot since they're easier to get a hold of and ask them to credit me the difference since they decided to randomly break it up into 2 charges and screw me over, and if they don't I'll just cancel that $1000 portion of the order.

Ok, two questions that I'm 100% confident have been answered already, but unfortunately not able to read through the entire 300 pages of posts to find the answer.

I made two separate purchases using this offer about a week ago (before the terms were changed) and received roughly 18000 points ($180) on those two purchases.

If I make an additional purchase now, will I still get the offer (even though I've made 2 purchases) and, if I do still get the offer, will the cashback be limited to $70 (based on the new $250 cap -- ie $180+$70=$250)?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I made a purchase on Black Friday. As of today, my Pay in 4 plan is still showing 0 of 4 paid. It says "Points Pending" but no actual point amount. Guess I have to wait for the merchant to complete my order in order to see the points.

I try to do pay in 4, for autopay I have to "Add card" even though I have cards already linked to my PayPal account. No matter what cards I enter in and verify I get "The card you added can't be used with this plan. Add a card to continue"
