Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

As long as it is a different account and has the offer, yes. I would not use the same credit card though (you should never link the same payment method with 2 paypal accounts or both can get shut down).
What if we have the same card, and one is an authorized user. My mom and I share about 3 cards together.

I used her Paypal account for a pay-in-4 transaction. The points is pending in her account. But I also see the payment authorization in my Paypal account activity. Wonder if my account still qualifiesConfused

Edit: Chatgpt says since it's the same card, that's why I also see the authorization. But since it's different names on the cards, Paypal allows them on different accounts.

I just a purchase iwith my account, shows pending points.

How long after we redeem for cash will the balance be available to transfer out Paypal to bank? Does it actually take the full 24 hours to happen?

I had several transactions that were placed before they changed the terms. 2 Pay Monthlies (already paid off) and the others Pay in 4. My first two transactions were adjusted down to 25,000 points in total (no longer pending) but should have been for ~28,600 points in total. All of the later transactions (made between 11/21 and 11/24) are still marked as pending for 20% of the purchase prices.
Just ran into this, which is a bummer and definitely violates their T&Cs. My old Pay in 4 purchases before the terms changed would have netted me about $300 in points back, but now that they've credited the points to my pp account, they've adjusted down the total amount to $250.

They're essentially retroactively applying the new T&Cs to purchases made under the old T&Cs that allowed for up to 20% off $5k total, not $1250. Not sure why this is happening to some people and not others, but it's 100% fraud since they're not honoring their original T&Cs.

Best Buy just cancelled my $850 gift card order... "because they weren't able to verify my information" BS!

Not sure if I should make another order because those 17,000 points are still showing as pending and they may not give me the same points on a new order.

I did 3 pay in 4, 1st order from target gift card purchase received 2000 points; 2nd order from Nike, pay in 4 was approved, I was charged 1st payment no points given; 3rd order from Macy's, points pending. I can not figure out why Nike order is ineligible

sorry of this has already been answered, quite a long thread. I made a purchase and got $240 worth of points before the terms of the offer changed and people were using this offer multiple times. After the terms changed, I still have this Pay later offer saved and made another purchase yesterady ( paypal presented me with pay in 4) but the points didn't show up. Between the original and updated terms, is the reward capped at $250 per account? or is there a hope that I would get the points for the recent purchase?

Can anyone who had big orders cancelled confirm if the pending points fall off the same day so that a new order can be placed?

So I only used the offer once and got 15000 points which I have redeemed now. The offer is still under my Rewards. If I try to do another purchase will it be denied since it is limited to only one transaction now or since I only earned 15000 from the 25000 max I can still get another 10000 points?

Did you get that email from PayPal with the new terms? If you did it won't work. After I got that email I tried it and was denied, but what I did since I was curious I tried the PayPal credit one and got approved with $40 off my order and no interest if I pay it off within six months which I can easily do
