Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

No, not on BB or Kohls. Will try eBay to see if it's still there. BB cancelling my big order really screwed me out of $200+ dollars if I can't get this offer anymore...UPDATE: All tried Walmart and eBay, looks like pay in 4 option is gone from my account completely. It is available for my SO's account, but that account used the max offer limit. So, I guess the cancelled $850 BB transaction just caused PP to remove the offer from my account!
Ebay merchant canceled my order. 6% seller discount, 20% cyber Monday code, 20% PayPal. Now I lost the PayPal so no purchase for me

Tried to use Pay in 4 a couple of times in the last two days and was not approved. Reason #1: "We regret that we are unable to approve your request at this time for the following reason: Number of open PayPal Pay in 4 Loans."So I paid in full the three Pay in 4 loans and tried again.Reason #2: "We regret that we are unable to approve your request at this time for the following reason: Number of recent applications submitted."PayPal is making this up as they go along. Hard to trust a company that appears to change the terms whenever they want. I will be talking with my feet and taking my business elsewhere going forward.
I was denied for #2. PayPal was stuck in a endless processing loop where it timed out. Retried then kicked me out. I guess they pulling the plug

lol at the complaints about not being able to cheat the system.

Be glad that you got $250 cashback while many others like myself got flagged for unusual activity.

I'm very happy for everyone who got this deal. Unfortunately for me, Paypal is TRASH! I have wasted more hours on this $hit deal than you can imagine. Went to Target online, loaded up on various GCs, selected PayIn4 and got denied for "unusual activity." My fico is in the 840s and there is absolutely no suspicious activity on my paypal account. I don't keep balances on my cards and have PLENTY of revolving credit. F Paypal! Never again! This is why I never use them even though I've had an account for 24 years!

Consider yourself lucky. Terms stated no "stored value cards". could mean giftcards now if ppl go through and got the points its still subjective to the pending period so they could have their points clawed back.I rather missed a discount then having to justify how to spend the extra gift cards im stuck with.

It had PayIn4 available as method of payment and numerous other people have reported successfully buying gift cards.

"unusual activity." may also be target than paypal. Retailers like target and walmart are very finicky about large GC purchase online. Sometime back i was trying to buy GC at walmart and only $100 and it was getting flagged and canceled unless i contact them and they will ask to resubmit same exact order without changing payment methods after 12 hours hours. Crazy amount of work to buy $100 GCs.
