Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

If I spend more than 1200 on a single transaction, will they still give me 20% back on the first 1200? For instance, I'm looking to buy something costing $2k, will I get 20% back on $1200 even though I spent $2k, or do you have to keep the purchase under 1200?

You can go over. It's $1250 to get the max points though.

It doesn't expire until 12a PT, so even if it disappeared it should still work.

The offer disappeared for me a couple hours ago. I just bought $1300 in GCs from a cb site (~9:30p PT) and my pp account is showing 25k points pending.

Amazing. If you bought it from Target, it would bring it down to 360+ tax for mario kart bundle. Red hot.

I was one of the unlucky ones whose application was denied for no good reason. 3rd attempt to order and it banned me from trying again.
I wanted the Retroid Pocket 6 for $300-60 = $240 shipped from China. Would've been an unbelievable deal.

Ditto.
Just made a Target.com purchase with two hours to spare on the left coast. Checked PP Rewards beforehand and offer didn't appear.
After purchase, PP summary shows authorization charge with points pending.
And if PP fails to go through, the whole gets cancelled.

Edit--question for me is what the best way is to cash out on the points? I've never linked a bank account to PP during the 20+ years I've had an account. Appreciate any suggestions on other ways to extract the credit.
