Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

Is anyone's points still pending? I made a purchase on 11/28 and it still only says "20% cash back on one Pay Later purchase with PayPal Points pending"

I received a partial refund from Best Buy (price went down the next day), and it was pretty straight forward. Received an email from PayPal that I got a refund... then another email showing the new payment schedule (they took it out of the last installment).

Is it normal that it doesn't have the actual number of points amount pending? And I only see the pending in the app, not on desktop

haters will say it's fake. But this reinforces what I've been trying to teach angry kenny ---- phone calls don't matter in this dojo. Strike first, strike hard is the only rule that matters. I hit the promo HARD after this.
We have seen people getting their points capped so we know it works both ways and we know that's how Paypal intended and it was the phone calls that got them to cut it off. The crowds that says we didn't know for sure the intent is in the right. No one could have predicted the outcome which is what we were saying all along.

No offer for me. I wonder if it is because I pretty much stopped using Paypal?

Might be. Might also be because this expired already, just a thought.

I joined the party too late (when the limit was reduced to 1 transaction) and have the points pending. I still see that as a W as opposed to an L. Love seeing the screenshots of people getting multiples. Fark PayPal!
No points for me. My payment is still pending after 4 days.

I had two transactions that would have put me way above 250 in points, but got capped at 250. both transactions were before they changed the terms and i could not add other transaction due to having completed the promotion. oh well, nothing i can do about that now. not going to argue especially one of those transactions will be refunded.

I used it once and saw the point, then I did not see any point from the 2nd purchase, my paypal acknowledge email said it was through Dec 8. Looks like Paypal change the rule of game in middle. technically if what the statement said is correct, it should give me the points for any purchase before Dec 8th. now I may have to return the expensive item I purchased!

What do you mean by gone? The points disappeared or it's out of pending status (and available to convert to cash)?
