Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

I had two transactions that would have put me way above 250 in points, but got capped at 250. both transactions were before they changed the terms and i could not add other transaction due to having completed the promotion. oh well, nothing i can do about that now. not going to argue especially one of those transactions will be refunded.
Had the same thing happen with my second transaction that brought me over $250. Luckily only cut off about $10 in points. But my transactions after that all successfully gave me points. So it seems they had a change of heart and bypassed the $250 cut off. You might have success if you try to chat with them and explain.

I received a partial refund from Best Buy (price went down the next day), and it was pretty straight forward. Received an email from PayPal that I got a refund... then another email showing the new payment schedule (they took it out of the last installment).
Any idea on the cash back that has already been received and deposited?

Did you offer expire on 12/2? or does it go until 12/8? I don't see this offer on my paypal account anymore.

Good to see people getting their pending points purchased past the initial $250 is getting confirmed. Still pending for me but hope to see them confirmed shortly. I got about 22K pending points I am hoping get confirmed so I can cash that out for a total of about $470 cashback. Real slick if this goes through.

Can I pay it off while the points is still pending? I used pay monthly (pay in four was rejected) and it has 33% APR

Pay that sucker off asap. (Got to love the US lack of Usury protection we have as a consumer economy.)

One of my earlier samsung orders was put in using the wrong promo code. I used PayPal in 4 as payment

I cancelled the order immediately, but the pay in 4 never dropped off

It's been 2 weeks and the payment is still there, the 2nd payment is due soon

PayPal said the seller never refunded the payment. I tell them.. What payment? The order was cancelled immediately! There's no order!

I'm still waiting for a resolution

You'll still get the points if you pay it all off immediately.

Paypal cashback is garbage. I had the promo but no good stores like samsung showed up for me. The only decent one I had was home depot but didn't want anything from there. I still have cb points pending from aug/sept for safeway grocery that looks like I'll never get.

What do you mean by gone? The points disappeared or it's out of pending status (and available to convert to cash)?
Bought three items from Northern Tool last Thursday. One big item and two smaller, all in a single purchase. Two would ship directly from them and the expensive one would be shipped from the manufacturer. That worried me going in, not knowing whether the transaction would show up as one, or if it would even be completed by the 2nd. The two posted pretty quickly with pending points rewards. I got the shipping notification for the item shipping from the manufacturer on Monday, so it actually made it under the wire. Got a notification that my first $282 Pay in 4 payment had been made on Tuesday, but it no longer shows any pending rewards at all.

Samsung did not have the pay in 4/pay later option for me, I tried. Only the stores listed on paypal for me had the option.
