Avoid Aliexpress via Paypal. All, yes ALL, transactions are being processed by Paypal as cash advance! Resulting in Credit Card Issuer inflicting a cash advance transaction fee + accrual of daily interest as high as 28% APR! No way to resolve and all three companies (CC, AE & Paypal) will circle jerk the finger pointing of who is responsible with no solution. Reddit is exploding with many customers getting hit with these fees in the tune of 10's and even 100's of dollars. Avoid!!!

Paying the balance early in Pay Monthly won't violate the terms.

Remove your PayPal account from eBay payment first. Now after making a purchase, it will redirect you to PayPal, pick 'pay in 4' from there.

those whose points are still in a sleeper hold: do you plan to wait out the 90 days or do you intend to contact sooner? 14 business days that someone mentioned earlier sounds like a plausible minimum time frame to wait, then I'll probably reach out to see what they say.

has anyone chased out and then had to return an item? Wondering if they withdrew the cashback...
also curious about this. After I made my purchase, I see it on sale for a comparable discount on another site plus some accessory credits to boot. I don't think I can get a pricematch, but since I've already cashed out my PP reward points a few days ago, I wonder how PP would react to a return.

Got a similar question, if returns would trigger a paypal points in negative balance with rewards?

I have 2 accounts I used this on. One account I recieved all 3 rewards that were all placed before they emailed only one reward. Those each took 11 days to get the points. Account 2 I received 1 of my 2 rewards. The one I received was after 11 days and made before the only 1 reward email. The other reward has been 13 days (made on 12/2) and still pending. That one was made after the only one reward email, hoping it worked because I was well below the $250 cap.

Has anyone received a reward on a purchase made 12/2 or after?

It was reality for me. It may display more than 25000 points for each pending transaction, but when the pending changes to completed, it doesn't mean you will get over 25000 points per transaction.
you are right. I only got 250 for the actual promo points.. but i do still have the additional separate 5% cashback points pending in my balance.. hoping i get those

I made a single purchase before the updated T&C and a single purchase after it. Already cashed out the points from the first one, second one is still pending. Hoping they come through because the first one was small ($60) while the other one was $180.

I'm in the same boat. Made a couple purchases before the changes and one after. Latter is still pending. I also did the 1000 pts 1st google play purchase deal couple days ago and it already paid out.

My one after is still pending as well since Dec 3. Did you pay it off? I just paid it off in case that speeds it up. I don't want to open it in case I have to return it....waiting.....still waiting.....

No, just going to let it run it's course. Let us know if it sped up the process.

I made three purchases all after the T&C change.
Nov 30 purchase - already got the points.
Dec 1 purchase (gift cards from Best Buy) - still pending
Dec 2 purchase (electronics from Best Buy) - still pending. Returnable until Jan 15.

I have some time to wait. If I don't get the points in time, I will have to return the 3rd order :|

It's been dead for a while... I caught it at the tail end when they limited it to 1 order, which I took full advantage of (i.e., $250 back).

I already paid in full and cashed out points. Now I will likely need to return one of the items in my order. Will PayPal try to get the points/$$ back from me?
