2024 Variant is available for $189 has Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 with X62 radio.

Best voice for budget rural reception. X60+ have AI logic to improve signal by scrubbing previously non-viable RSSI. It is one massive advantage over MediaTek in radio performance. X70 updates it but won't be in cheap phones for a very long time.

I mean if you need an unlocked bootloader this is a good option but if you don't just go to straight talk they'll give you the 128 GB model for free if you buy a $55 plan. Then you ride by another $30 plan to get it unlocked but still 80 bucks and you get the same phone and it's unlocked after 60 days. But it does have the prepaid bloat and stuff. But still it's the newer model, much faster charging. And you're talking about saving like well over $100.

You can uninstall all of the bloat except for some of the Motorola apps but that would be the same issue on this version. Again though you can't unlock the bootloader so if that's something you need to do you absolutely have to buy the unlocked version.

Honestly I think these are awesome phones for what they are. The live wallpapers are amazing The gestures are amazing. The only thing I'm a little disappointed by is USB 2.0. If it had USB 3.1 or something and you could do screen mirroring, I don't even need the full desktop mode but if you could do screen mirroring this would be such a steal.

I'm actually I guess talking about the 2025 version although the 2024 version looks great too and has a better battery life. But it only has 30 w charging instead of 67 watt charging.
