I have bought similar hand grippers with the counter. Counter is nice. Nowhere near as sturdy as old school wooden handle low tech. My dad managed to break one by unscrewing it too far and it came apart. Me being mister handy was unable to reassemble it.
The finger spreaders are probably the most challenging to use. Much harder than you would expect from a strength perspective.
