For about the same price, I wonder if this 8BitDo or CRKD Atom is better?

8BitDo is famous for having nice DPads and good build quality, but the CRKD Atom has a "cuter" rounded look like a mini SNES controller and more colors. I like that both of these are basically keychain sized!

Yea, there's games on it Wink Unfortunately, it's a limited set of games and you can't install any new ones, but it's better then nothing. Some slightly older Model Ses had full-blown Steam, but they inexplicably removed that feature from current cars (which more powerful, in a computing/GPU-sense, and should run Steam games even better).

Surprised this didn't work for the other guy in his Y, I have another 8bitdo controller and it works great in both our Teslas, wonder if he tried the different modes (someone suggested Mac mode).

They removed it? I've been enjoying playing on steam while waiting for my kids, it's a big plus

I your car has it, you won't lose it, but newer version of the Model S (with more powerful CPUs & GPUs than the versions which had Steam) no longer get it!?! Lost a whole bunch of brownie points from me for that.. (: You can still buy a used Model S with Steam, many times it's listed as one of the features of the car as some people really want it Smilie Blows my mind that there's no aftermarket tweaks to get Steam on newer Teslas, my HW3 could run most non-GPU intensive games just fine.
