Great deal and good to impress people, otherwise can't find much use for it.

There are tons of uses for this. It's a great size to keep in the car for emergencies.

I got this one on the last deal. So far I'm impressed. Great build quality and stupid bright on the highest setting. I ordered from the Sofirn Store on AliExpress and it came with genuine Sofirn batteries. Those are worth more than half the price by themselves.

Personally I would not leave 18650s in a car, unless its part of the battery pack which gets actively cooled.

The SP36 has tons of uses like sitting next to my convoy s2+, s2+uv, blf a6, if23 pro, skilhunt h03, etc etc.

Chairman of the Select Committee on the CCP, Rep. John Moolenaar:

The CCP legally compels every Chinese company to support its intelligence and military objectives. Alibaba's denial changes nothing. When China demands data, access, or cyber-vulnerability info, companies must comply or face consequences. This is exactly why the Pentagon labels Alibaba a Chinese military company.

I have no idea what danger I face if the CCP or chinese military knows I own a flashlight.

Now that agent that was in Feinstein's office for twenty plus years and the one that Salwell was sleeping with that is different matter. You do realize that the Chinese are now able to build such nice stuff as a presidential administration in the 90s let them have our manufacturing, farming and military tech?

Us buying stuff that happens to be made in the same place that all the stuff at Costco, Amazon,The Apple Store or Home Depot stuff is does not seem to be security matter. You worry about flashlights and get your prescription from there, the solar panels on you neighbors roof that are stating to fill our landfills came from there and many even crazily supported policy just year or so back that was going to have our energy reliance placed in China's hands.

I think the odds of this flashlight spying on anyone are slim.

They may be trying to destroy the family structure or recruit spies.

Follow me and imagine a late night call or text msg. One that warns that you must do something for them or your wife is going to find out that you have bought forty or more flashlights along with some refrigerator magnets and tweezers.

The poor man will be putty in their hands if he doesn't want to die from such embarrassing information coming to light.

Imagine the dilemma such a poor man would face. Either to explain to the wife, family, coworkers and friends why he needs forty flashlights or work for the Chinese as secret agent. I think we all know that most men making that choice would definitely go to work for China as the first is just so awfully embarrassing and does not sound plausible to sane people anyway

The braver and more patriotic may face up and face the wife but again again I see a win for for China. A self respecting and serious woman will be running fast and far when she realizes what a silly fool they married. No marriage, no children in the couple's future that would have made our next generation of soldiers.

This guy might be onto something.

Some people like TV's bigger than 36", cars that go faster than 90mph and 0-60 faster than 8 sec, and homes larger than 500sqft and water colder than 50F and tea hotter than 90F...

And if you are obsessed by what people are impressed with, that pretty much says it all.

With adjustable brightness and reasonable duration and weight, there is no such thing as a light that is "too bright."

And there is this thing called Ai these days you can ask, I am 100% sure it can list at least one thing out of 53,090 uses for this light that you couldn't imagine thus far.

This is more like TV's bigger than 65, cars that go faster than 120mph and 0-60 faster than 4 seconds, homes larger than 2000 sq ft, etc, etc. This is on the upper echelon of lights, not those dinky specs you mention lol.

Which is why I say there is no real every day use case for this other than showing off. There are simply better options for your lighting needs.

There is always something better. Learnt that from a young age, we joked that we couldn't keep up with our car with our millionaire trust fund friend.

That is why we are on slickdeals right? Looking for the best bang for the buck. I am happy with my e46 m3, I don't need to be fomo'ing a gt2.

Simple jack life is best. Too many worries is not good for you. Cheers!

Who said we have to limit to everyday us?

Actually has many more use cases than I imagined. I sold about ten thinking the same thing then tried one and find many uses that no other light works as well for. Maybe not every day but many days it is the ideal tool for the job.

I can use this as work light to light the complete side of my house or a whole basement with the electric off. Can be used as a beam or lantern with the diffuser in an emergency and will light up a whole house level if you have an open floor plan. The same when it is time to pack up.to leave a yard party or pack up a campsite. The spread is amazing and I have no other light that works as well for stuff like that. It also functions as high power power bank in emergencies and there are some smaller light that do that but you drain them quickly.
No other flashlight in my collection will perform as well for many tasks that this is ideal for.

I may have a more everyday table saw that is smaller and less powerful yet the does't negate the fact I may often need a larger more powerful one.

Having options is never a negative and it is not for you ot to tell people what they need as many may be living lifestyles completely different than ours.

Do you have any proof it is NOT spying on you?
