The device is sluggish unless you do the following: go to device care-memory- turn off ram plus. Also go to accessibility-vision enhancements-hit decrease animations.

Are you referring to
Reduce Animation -> ON
Reduce Transparency and Blur -> ON
Do you think Iimit CPU speed to 70% -> OFF helps?

I didn't limit cpu speed. Turning off ram plus is the most important thing.

I bought this Metro Samsung A9+ tablet a few days ago for $20 by adding a new line/device to my current Metro account. It came with a sim card for the $20 a month service plan. I can use the 5G data plan to go on the internet and watch Youtube.

However, I cannot make phone calls. The tablet have its own phone number. In order to make a call I have to "Turn on Call & text on other devices in Settings to make calls and send messages from this tablet using your phone's number and mobile plan." Can someone explain what is going on?

"With the Call & text on other devices feature, you can make and receive calls or send messages on your tablet. You just need to sign into the same Samsung account as your phone and activate the Call & text on other devices feature." I don't want to create a Samsung account and sign into both my phone and the tablet.

So this Metro Samsung A9+ tablet with the $20 service plan cannot make phone calls on it own without linking to another phone's number and mobile plan via a Samsung account? Can someone explain what is going on?

Thanks.

very simple coz its a tablet NOT a phone. A computer can make phone call too. but do you see anyone carry a pc on the street to use it as a phone?

So this Samsung A9+ tablet cannot make a voice phone call on its own even though it has its own phone number. The "Call and text on other devices" feature is exclusive to Samsung devices and the tablet and phone has to be on the same mobile network. You can probably use other 3rd party calling apps. I give up because it is too much of a hassle and will just use the tablet for internet and Youtube videos.

This Samsung A9+ tablet is probably not a cellular-enabled tablet (hardware wise) so the 365 days to unlock after activation does not apply right?

If I link this tablet to my other phone via the "Call and text on other devices" using a shared Samsung account, what phone number will appear when I make a phone call? The tablet's phone number or the phone's phone number?

365 day sim lock if you want to put a mobile data sim in it.

4 devices on one Metro account is probably the limit.

If I do not want to pay for the next month for mobile data, I still can use wifi on this tablet for internet browsing and youtube, right? There is no restriction for like 365 days or so?
