The difference between the shoes are what they're used for. Brooks Ghost is for traditional track/road running. Where as the Divide has a more aggressive sole for multi-terrain and off-road running. The Divide has a little more weight as well. Both can be worn daily, but can be used for different purposes.

Also if you like the ghosts, they make a ghost trail edition with the same fit and feel but a different sole.
