Back to it's pre-release price! As much as I want to upgrade for more juice, my C1000 gen 2 has been collecting dust the last few wks. Can someone please convince me that the upgrade is a must!😀

TT-30 plug is all the reason I needed to get the C2000 gen 2. Got a TT-30 to NEMA L14-30R cable that feeds 30A to my generator transfer switch. Hope to never need it, but would much rather run this than my gas generator that is my other option.

I don't see any reason to get a 2KW unit around $700 price as a 3KW like the Pecron will get 30% off thanks to the solar taxes assuming you will pay income taxes.

With the expansion battery it is over 3kwh, does that make it worth it?

Figured this was going to happen as Black Friday approaches. Been waiting to purchase and I think I'm still going to hold out until the REAL Black Friday gets here. (Yes I know Anker supposedly has a 30 day price guarantee - I don't want to deal with the hassle) I'm thinking possibly $699 for BF on Amazon? Maybe?

Code brought the Unit with an expansion battery price down to $1250! Regular sale price was $1400.

$1250 with the expansion battery, plus tax. 2400W, 4096Wh, 800W solar input. ~$.34/kWh for most. More capacity, easier to move a single unit but also in total heavier and more cumbersome to move around.
The larger Pecron F3000 is $760 now without tax. 3600W, 3072Wh, 1600W solar input. $.25/kWh

Anker C2000 has a very efficient AC inverter which might make the different for low-watt applications, ie despite the capacity difference running something like a wifi router might actually be similar runtime with both power stations.

But the flip side, F3000 has twice the solar input which significantly improves its capabilities.

it's really the battery capacity difference and it's how the pricing based on.

I mainly used it to avoid the TOU peak hour grid charge, depending on your consumption, 1K wh or 2K wh, or even more to last through the peak hours. This is how you justifiy the cost of the electric bill and eventually it pays for itself kind of deal.

For 2K wh, you do have option to add expansion battery to the C1000 and make it 2K wh total while C2000 can be expanded to 4K wh total, again depending on how much electric you'd need for the off grid time period, being it outage or just avoiding the peak hours.

If you have solar panel, it also allows you to offset your electric consumption during the noon time when sunlight the strongest.

I'd say comparing to the electric bill, these coupons of $20 here and $50 there mean trivial comparing to the bill saved. The real game change would be when the battery price drops significantly, which is on a steady pace yearly but not fast enough.
