It's legit, it's based out of Australia. Not all countries require the prescriptions, but in my experience ordering from these online retailers, they ask for it if required after the order.

If you don't know, these can be jailbroken to open up Bi PAP, ASV and other capabilities.

And DME companies try to make me pay my remaining ~$300 deductible then rent the machine to me at ~$50/month for 13 months stretching into next years deductible at the behest of my insurance company that thinks I won't use it despite being verifiably 100% compliant for 10 years.

Hopefully this company is legit because the current system is a scam.

The only thing I use insurance for is the supplies. I bought an AirSense a couple years ago around Black Friday and just had my PCP do a prescription. The renting of these machines is a total scam unless you have a great health plan which is rare these days.
Looks like this machine has cellular and heated tubing which mine never had. Good deal.

Thanks for sharing OP.

I bought this last year holiday season as a backup for my airsense 11 in case something happens. Fortunately, I haven't had to use it yet, but the piece of mind knowing I have it in case my machine dies is worth it alone.

Mine is dying I think. I wake with headaches. Once I get the new one I am going to replace the motor (assuming I can find one and it's not super hard).
You should download Oscar [sleepfiles.com](it's not difficult) and then put the memory card in your machine. You will be able to see if your headaches are being caused by machine issues. After having the card in your machine, you can view all the data on your PC. I used it a lot when I was starting odd but I've been sleeping well so I don't look too often anymore. It looks like tech from the '80's but it works.

Where does it say used? Maybe I'm missing it.

I replaced my AirSense10 blower with one from AliExp.
There are YT videos on what needs to be done. Straight forward.
Also, it allows you to wash everything inside. Make sure you are cleaning everything as mold can make you sick.

Before I download the app... does anyone with access know if there are any other sales on masks on it?

Silly question, mine that I got (after sleep study, fitted at local place), the settings are done remotely (or set before I got mine). These machines that you get through an online vendor, how are the settings "set"? The only setting I can change on mine is the ramp (how fast the pressure builds up when I turn it on).

Is this end-user setable? If so, where do I get those parameters from? My doctor?

Sorry, I've been using mine for a few years (literally as a black box), but am a noob when it comes to buying a new one...

Without going into detail yes, compared to Amazon slightly better price. Also extra good if you subscribe.

You can access the clinical menu, and enter them yourself if you know them.

I emailed them and got ai answer there is no 399 machine. So I replied do you carry refurbished? Ai replied again "Sleeplay does offer a selection of certified pre-owned (refurbished) CPAP devices. However, the ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet CPAP Machine is available only as a new unit"

so ai is wrong just not sure if only first or both replies.

Can you really buy this without prescription? I have been renting one on insurance for 2 years. I cannot get my insurance to cover the outright purchase of one and have already overpaid the cost of a device in rental fees... Also go get tested for sleep apnea. I finally did it and it was a game changer. Im not magically 100% awake every morning but i realized I dont wake up anymore with headaches and its amazing. I hate sleeping without it because i can instantly feel it.

On this particular model, if you press and hold the home button and dial/wheel button at the same time for a few seconds, it will grant access to the same "clinical settings" that your doctor (or supplier) would use. You'll know it's activated when you see "Exit Clinical Menu" appear at the top of the screen. When it appears, go to the Settings menu and you'll have a lot more options.
You can then view or change things like min/max pressure for AutoSet mode, starting ramp pressure, use CPAP mode for a set single pressure, etc. Exit the clinical menu when you're done. Of course, changing any of those without talking with your doctor are at your own risk.
