It's legit, it's based out of Australia. Not all countries require the prescriptions, but in my experience ordering from these online retailers, they ask for it if required after the order.

If you don't know, these can be jailbroken to open up Bi PAP, ASV and other capabilities.

And DME companies try to make me pay my remaining ~$300 deductible then rent the machine to me at ~$50/month for 13 months stretching into next years deductible at the behest of my insurance company that thinks I won't use it despite being verifiably 100% compliant for 10 years.

Hopefully this company is legit because the current system is a scam.

The only thing I use insurance for is the supplies. I bought an AirSense a couple years ago around Black Friday and just had my PCP do a prescription. The renting of these machines is a total scam unless you have a great health plan which is rare these days.
Looks like this machine has cellular and heated tubing which mine never had. Good deal.

Anyone with mild apnea have night and day improvement by using a CPAP?
Won't be night and day. Mild sleep apnea slowly chips away at you, building sleep debt over time. I have mild OSA and sleep so much more soundly and the major bonus is I don't snore and mouth breathe.

Used CPAP machines are worthless
Most used machines are used for a low amount of hours and cannot be tolerated by patients. I used to take a lot of them back in working in DME, and they were almost brand new. Not sure why they would be worthless?

Sleeplay is 100% Legit. My company provides their home sleep testing devices. I'm a sleep tech with 10 years experience. Feel free to ask me any questions.

FWIW I price-matched it to Lofta and they knocked another 10% off. Paid $366.90 and it included free Fedex Standard Overnight shipping. Ordered Friday afternoon, received Monday late morning. To be clear, Sleeplay is 100% legit, but they can sometimes drag their feet a bit on shipping.

I emailed them and got ai answer there is no 399 machine. So I replied do you carry refurbished? Ai replied again "Sleeplay does offer a selection of certified pre-owned (refurbished) CPAP devices. However, the ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet CPAP Machine is available only as a new unit"

so ai is wrong just not sure if only first or both replies.
It's definitely a new machine, the deal is app-exclusive. You have to download the Sleeplay app in order to see the $399 price.

I have major sleep apnea and have been using one for 6 months. A major improvement, although a little uncomfortable because I like to move a lot. I tried sleeping without the CPAP on days off, and I can instantly hear my snoring and groggling air gasps come back.

can this be used "offline" without the app? I know I need it for the coupon, but just want to make sure it can be used offline/disconnected.

Also, can anyone confirm they bought this without having to send in a prescription?

Thanks!

Silly question, mine that I got (after sleep study, fitted at local place), the settings are done remotely (or set before I got mine). These machines that you get through an online vendor, how are the settings "set"? The only setting I can change on mine is the ramp (how fast the pressure builds up when I turn it on). Is this end-user setable? If so, where do I get those parameters from? My doctor?Sorry, I've been using mine for a few years (literally as a black box), but am a noob when it comes to buying a new one...
You can Google how to get into provider settings. There's always youtube videos on how to do it.

Can you really buy this without prescription? I have been renting one on insurance for 2 years. I cannot get my insurance to cover the outright purchase of one and have already overpaid the cost of a device in rental fees... Also go get tested for sleep apnea. I finally did it and it was a game changer. Im not magically 100% awake every morning but i realized I dont wake up anymore with headaches and its amazing. I hate sleeping without it because i can instantly feel it.
You will need to upload your prescription after the purchase.

My dad just got a CPAP. He wants a backup. Just curious:
1. Is any insurance information required to buy this?
2. Does he just call the doctor and ask for a prescription for a backup machine

The resmed app is not required. It can be useful for basic insights if it's your first time using a machine, and it can import apple watch sleep data to show side-by-side with some machine data. HOWEVER, this machine uses a cellular connection to upload your sleep data to resmed servers, and I'm not sure if it's possible to turn that off. There's no bluetooth or wifi, so that's how the app is able to display your data. It's also available for your doctor to access when you go in for later appointments. The usual tradeoff of privacy vs convenience. The newer AirSense 11 is wifi instead, for better or worse.
The sleeplay app is just to order the machine and has nothing to do with using it once you receive it.

If you take a screenshot of sleeplay checkout page and provide it to lofta you can get this machine , a heated hose and a clinical grade cleaning solution for 371.75 total. Chat with the lofta rep about a price match .

Mine is dying I think. I wake with headaches. Once I get the new one I am going to replace the motor (assuming I can find one and it's not super hard).

I replaced my AirSense10 blower with one from AliExp.
There are YT videos on what needs to be done. Straight forward.
Also, it allows you to wash everything inside. Make sure you are cleaning everything as mold can make you sick.
I also replaced the blower in mine a few years ago, but I can't remember where I got it from. The ones from Ali are likely the exact same ones though. I think it was $80 at the time, and I'd say for that - it was worth it.

However, I will say that the new blower is not totally silent like the one it replaced. It has this weird high frequency squeal during inhalation that I can hear if the room is very quiet. The blower itself seems to work properly, and I sleep fine with it, but that noise drive me nuts sometimes.

I now keep that unit as my travel CPAP, since most hotels have enough ambient noise to drown it out. I can also put it down on the lower part of a nightstand and prop a pillow in front just enough to cut that high frequency whine where I can't hear it. It's nice to have a machine that I can just grab and go and leave my primary Airsense 10 on my nightstand at home.
