Pre-lit isn't worth it. After a few years you will have burnt out bulbs then its either tear things apart (hours, I've been there) or take it to the dump, neither are good. Stringing lights on a tree takes 30 minutes.

It says it remains lit if a bulb goes out.

If the lights fail then I string up normal lights, i don't understand the issue. Who's putting their face up the tree to check? In the middle of the night ? I don't even know why I leave my xmas lights on at night when no one is looking at it.

Who TF does that anymore? It seems like its more expensive to not use LED's. This thing probably pulls 300 watts.
