3rd party id verification with id document and selfie upload required. Also PayPal pay later needs a credit line activated with PayPal:

To use PayPal Pay Later, customers must have a PayPal account, be at least 18 years old, and reside in a state where the service is available. A soft credit check is performed during the application process, which does not impact the customer's credit score.

Note: you can use the 20% off on "Paypal Later" in the PayPal app for ANY purchase up to $1,250 thru Dec. 8th. It doesn't have to work on this iPhone only.

Not seeing anything in my PayPal about 20% off.
*EDIT Found it. Had to go to Rewards in my PayPal and save the offer. I still dont see anything about it when checking out, but I'm hoping it will be fine.

Curious what issues you faced. I use Total only to buy mid-range Android phones averaging $60-70 to unlock and give it to family and friends. Got two 2024 Moto Edge last year and two 2025 Moto Stylus this year. Experience has been so far so good from that perspective. Are you having poor experience as your primary mobile service?

PayPal gets everything authorized and the 4 installment s setup
But then TotalWireless's dreaded message
"We're sorry. Your payment was declined. Please use another payment method or contact the card issuer"
This is after the first installment shows up as authorized on PayPal and pending on my bank

It's just pathetic that Total Wireless continues to have this issue at least 5 years after I first encountered it

Too much leg work for that much $$ so I'm out unfortunately
Areee. I am amazed the amount of work people will do to save a few bucks. I guess their time isn't worth anything to them.

Time is definitely worth. This is no different from a simple coupon clipping and use it where permitted. However, I would not use it for this deal. This may be good for those who need the latest phone whatever the discount may be.

Crazy $770 price listing with many caveats and hoops to jump. Might as well list as free, - $0 if you add 2 hours of regular job toward paying the phone, assuming you earn $500 an hour.

Did this get fixed for you? This is the only thing that's giving me pause.

I'm not sure why some of these comments are saying this deal is not worth it, 770 for an $1100 phone and 3 months of service is pretty good. In terms of effort it doesn't seem much different than any other total wireless deal, just change payment method to paypal. Maybe I'm missing something if someone can share?

CC offers dont stack with pay in 4. CB offers are hit or miss. You can directly order from apple for almost the same price. Just you get 3 months free unlimited service.
