For 3D printer newbies. You need NOTHING else from Bambu labs. You can buy way cheaper filaments from Aliexpress with the comparable quality. I would recommend getting a 10 pack multi-color filaments liket his deal which should cost you ~$6 per 1Kg.

My son had been begging us to get him a 3d printer. Went from $200 A1 mini from his own pocket to dad jumping in on this action 😅. Let the random printing begin

A couple recommended items for new 3D print users.

3D model burr cleanup tool set and hotend cleaner:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CS6MLCWK

Jewelers pliers set for cleaning up models and removing supports.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PZ58BWJ

Air tight (waterproof) sealed container drybox for filament storage:
https://www.menards.com/main/stor...-12667.htm

Rechargeable Eva-Dry Dessicant for drybox:

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Eva-D.../202847325

PETG is more durable than using PLA but also absorbs moisture more quickly. Most filaments recommend drying before printing. Once the filament is dry you can store filament in a drybox and you don't have to dry it again for the next printing.

Do I need to get anything else to use this or does it come with everything in the box?

What about the filament too?
They typically include some sample filament in the box, but you'll want more. Otherwise, yes, everything you need to start printing.

Well, that's fantastic timing. I've been needing an enclosed Core XY printer, paypal provides the offer just as Bambu releases the P2S. Tossed on some nozzles and filament for $1,000 total and already see the $200 pending credit.

How does return/refund for order affects reward points earned? Does it void it? Since refund will cover the loan?

Anyone who is thinking of returning the P1S combo back to bambu for this deal - Do you have to return the whole thing (Printer + buffer/hub + AMS) Or can you return just the printer and get a partial refund?

My P1S was just delivered today and hasn't been opened.

I find it strange that the AMS2 Pro is $250 in the combo for the P2S, while it's $200 in the P1S combo.

So you are paying $50 more for the AMS2 Pro to be included with the new printer.

It's been years since I used PayPal. How do points work? do you redeem for cash? or is it something to use on later purchases?

Darn, got my P1s about a month and a half ago. Missed the BF sale price and missed the P2S. Had to get it in time for my LOs bday though.

Newb here ... I just bought the P1S combo for $549. I can basically get this for $640 ... might sound like a dumb question, but is the extra $90 worth it? I don't plan on doing heavy printing ... just using this as a new hobby.
