For 3D printer newbies. You need NOTHING else from Bambu labs. You can buy way cheaper filaments from Aliexpress with the comparable quality. I would recommend getting a 10 pack multi-color filaments liket his deal which should cost you ~$6 per 1Kg.

My son had been begging us to get him a 3d printer. Went from $200 A1 mini from his own pocket to dad jumping in on this action 😅. Let the random printing begin

A couple recommended items for new 3D print users.

3D model burr cleanup tool set and hotend cleaner:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CS6MLCWK

Jewelers pliers set for cleaning up models and removing supports.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PZ58BWJ

Air tight (waterproof) sealed container drybox for filament storage:
https://www.menards.com/main/stor...-12667.htm

Rechargeable Eva-Dry Dessicant for drybox:

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Eva-D.../202847325

PETG is more durable than using PLA but also absorbs moisture more quickly. Most filaments recommend drying before printing. Once the filament is dry you can store filament in a drybox and you don't have to dry it again for the next printing.

Couldn't get the PayPal deal, will patiently wait for Bambu to put this on sale. I'm hoping we'll see a better price soon, perhaps by Christmas.
Same - was your issue that you couldn't see the paypal pay later option at checkout? That is my issue - I can only see the regular paypal option

Damn. Wish I could have gotten a $230 AC S1C! Both are plug and play but you will get better more constant prints with P2S and less headaches. I guess it depends on if you can afford the $700. 3D prints take hours+++ (more time for lower layer height/better quality/silk/etc) so I bought 3 ACs and a P2S. No, I didn't think I would use a 3D printer much but now I'm hooked!
What all are you doing with it? My main concern is that I spend $700 on something I just sort of play with.

A1 Combo or A1 Mini Combo might be a better choice.

so I ordered this from BestBuy for pickup. I only got 1 box and it's the printer. (I assume they sent the store the wrong box that only contains the printer) of course they were of no help and said ohwell that's what we got. I talked to online support and they said ohwell you need to exchange it in 14 days or you're screwed. this is the 2nd time this has happened to me with them, last time I had to email their executive consumer team to get it fixed. but it's a lot of effort when they could just fix it. and of course I had to drive back and pay $5 parking just to find out the manager is useless and gave me wrong information such as I have until Jan 14 to return it, except that's only if I have a membership.
Thanks for the FYI. Picking up from best buy (and returning my P1S combo) tomorrow, so will be checking the box before I take it out of the store...

you won't need to. I didn't think they could fit the AMS2 in the box and so thought it would be 2 boxes, but it's actually shipped inside the printer itself. impressive they fit it tbh.

Ahh thanks. That's how my P1S combo came as well (AMS screwed inside the enclosure).

Be careful. If you use Pay Layer and charge it to a credit card, most likely, it will be coded as cash advance. You may end up paying cash advance fee and interest.
Did you try and pay off a credit card with a credit card? EEK!

Christ this makes my centauri carbon purchase look worse and worse, for ~$650 I could have gotten a significantly better printer and no BS about a future MMU that never comes.

I eventually opted for the pay later option, but don`t see pending point for 2 days. Does anybody have the same situation as I? Is there a way for me to file a complaint with PayPal?

Thank you @GeorgyZ, @E28M5, and this community - I'm in for one, too!
Got the PayPal four payment plan. The points are pending and the statement says will show up within 90 days.
I didn't see the additional 5% stacking for Chase Freedom card, so, missed out on that - c'est la vie.
