Plastic socks. Might as well use a grocery bag instead

That's quite an exaggeration. My go-to socks are Hollow's alpaca socks. That said, I received these Adidas socks and they actually are decent, especially at this price. They conform well to the foot and don't bunch, thanks to the stretchiness of the fabric. I like that they are thin but still provide ample protection. I wear them casually in the southern summer and my feet don't get any more hot and sweaty than with cotton blend socks. They have been a good replacement for the failed Gold Toe socks.

I bought these and some dickie socks that were recently on sale. Dickie socks are way more comfortable to wear.

Less about feeling like a sock and being serviceable as a sock and more about health and the amount you sweat through your feet while you uptake plastics by wearing these pure plastic socks on your feet. Same with boxers don't wear plastic boxers.

out of curiosity I looked up how long it takes for polyester clothing to decompose. 20-200 years. And it turns into microplastic.

I plan to wear them not to throw them into ground, maybe it is just the way I use socks.

So a sock shouldn't feel like a sock?

I think you are confusing feet for tree roots. They don't uptake chemicals like you are saying. My point was that I have actual experience wearing these socks and they don't make my feet sweat as badly as you claim. Maybe for you, so don't buy them. I'm providing other interested buyers another opinion for which they can use to decide to buy or not.

From experience, these short socks tend to slide down while walking.
